I've never heard of using a lifeline before, what a great idea. Could this double stockinette stitch be used to knit a seamless cushion, with the appropriate amount of stitches? I've never tried this sort of knitting before.

I hadn’t knitted in decades, and you are an excellent teacher! I’ve been working on this in the double stockinette stitch. I’m using a soft yarn and I wonder if it is the reason some of the end stitches get stretched out and irregular looking? Anyone have a suggestion?

Love the patterns but don't like the life line idea. I used every sort of marker thread from yarn to slippery rayon and it was a head ache every time. I prefer to make sure each row is free of error as I go along and if I find one I simple unknit that row back to mistake also I have ripped back and didn't find it very hard to pick up the stitches again. Front stitch, back side stitch and so on. All being said I love these patterns and coincidentally my daughter asked for these head bands for Christmas. Thank you!

😢 I started making one last week (I haven’t knitted in over a year and would consider myself a beginner) and somehow got it messed up after about 2 inches. Should have done a lifeline even though I was just getting going on it! 😢

It turned out not so great for me after many days of pearling the pearls and knitting the knits. I think it is other way round but I am learning how to speak knitting. Looked more like a turban Sikhs wear. Everyone laughed at what I ended up making. 😄😄

Love your video and this pattern. I don’t think it will be mindless knitting though, as the red headband stitch pattern causes me to accidentally purl the stitch instead of slip. Can you tell me what happens to the knit fabric if you inadvertently leave a purl in there? Afraid I won’t catch the mistake.

I have been making the double stockinette headband. It looks great but it takes twice the effort and time! How long should it normally take? I have been at it for hours I feel like and I am not even half way done :D I am a beginner but I do know all the things I needed to know to make this pattern.
