One ww2 truck inspired wall-e's truck
ОтветитьMy mom was born in 1935 in a small village in Wales, and all the children were given mickey mouse gas masks
ОтветитьHo-ho-ho! I wish I could time travel back to the early 2010s to tell little 3-6 year old me THIS about good ol' Mickey when I was obsessed with 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse'
ОтветитьIt must take a lot of work, time and money to maintain and perfectly care for this museum especially from dust.
ОтветитьFrom a business point of view... Walt Disney pitching cartoonish gas masks for kids... to score a contract selling them to the US Military.... Brilliant move!
ОтветитьAwesome vlog
ОтветитьCool museum! Thanks for showing us!
ОтветитьThere's dude who has a private collection that rivals any museum. Weird, expensive hobby.
ОтветитьAmazing vid mate.
ОтветитьGreat video. It must've felt a tad uncomfortable to look into a mirror Hitler most likely preened himself in front of of a morning 🥴
ОтветитьI was a volunteer docent for a short time at this museum. There are more artifacts stored in the basement than there is room to display. Right across from the small gift shop area is the Native American Alcove honoring those Native Americans that served with distinction. The original painting Heritage of Valor is displayed there. The painting was done by Kelly Haney the artist who created the statue that stands on top of the Capitol Dome. The model for the painting is my wife Major (ret) Vicki Jones who was the 1st female helicopter pilot in the Oklahoma National Guard. She was also honored as the Oklahoma Woman Veteran of the Year and was selected for induction into the Oklahoma Officers Candidate School Hall of fame. It is an amazing museum well worth the visit.
ОтветитьWe’re lucky the woke mob hasn’t closed this down. I would love to come here and see this it’s part of history.
ОтветитьWow... the kids and I go here all the time. Just a cool place all around. Cool to see you here in North OKC. We have an excellent zoo too.
ОтветитьHitler's bedroom mirror from his bunker. Man that would be eerie to look into.
Ответитьvery coolio, more spooky stuff plz
ОтветитьYou should have stopped at Fort Sill and saw the Field Artillery Museum!!!!!
Ответитьthe 45th infantry s original emblem was a swastika and the golden thunderbird
ОтветитьGreat content Chris the explorer
ОтветитьAs hated as hitler was we sure seem to look up to him like a celebrity
ОтветитьIt's an interesting video but where they say potato masher grenade is wrong it's called a stick grenade
ОтветитьA worker there told me that that cape was taken from Hitlers Munich apartment. The G.I was told to search through his apartment for documents, while he was there, he took some souvenirs for his mother. This included some of the glasses and bowls on display. But since you can't ship glass only without it breaking, he added some of Hitler's uniforms into the package to take home. when he came home from Europe he asked where the uniforms were. His mother responded "Oh, I threw them out, they don't fit you." But she kept the cape since it looked nice.
Note: This is hearsay from the old worker there (you can hear him in the background)
Have you checked out dragonmans private museum in Colorado Springs? Largest private collection probably in the world.
ОтветитьAwesome. The Division's original symbol was a swastika... Before the Eagle 🦅
ОтветитьGreat video thanks
ОтветитьWar freaking sucks man, I mean we all knew that but still, the stupidity and awfulness of war never ceases to amaze me
Seeing things like this really makes it so much more real, everyone should see things like this to understand how real it really is, in school war can often come across as something very far removed
It's cute that you think that guy was knowledgeable.
ОтветитьThe only thing that's missing is a roll of Hitler's toilet paper.
Ответитьinteresting collect , very well displayed , but regardless of what other countries did , i always personally wonder when something stops being a souvenir of war but comes theft . Controversial i know , but how are Hitlers bathroom items and many many other none battle related items cars , private boats , household items of the famous etc military related and free to remove from the country of origin .
ОтветитьOKC?! I’ve lived in Oklahoma 32 years and i just found out there’s a WWII museum in OKC?!?!?
ОтветитьWe visited this museum with our kids it’s a really amazing museum
ОтветитьVery nice!!! Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьPlace must be saturated with lingering evil.
ОтветитьI love going to museums 😊
ОтветитьThe pieces of shit allies had no right to seize this stuff, but it is war.
ОтветитьThe guy in the background speaking was a geordie from Newcastle england
ОтветитьWe just visited in September. What a great collection from the civil war to WW2.
ОтветитьAmazing How that mirror once reflected the Fuhrer Hitler once upon a time and you can use it for yourself, amazing.
ОтветитьGreat collection!
ОтветитьI've been there a few times
ОтветитьThat was amazing! I can't get over the Mickey Mouse mask, how horrible kids had to wear them, but how blessed Walt Disney came up with a way to make it less scary for them!
ОтветитьIt’s amazing what some of the items my grandfather returned home with. He wouldn’t speak about the war until we got older. He allowed me to ask questions. Most he would refrain from going into the details for our protection. He showed me a German Luger and nazi soldier medals taken from inside house they cleared. He served in WW2 and was in Belgium, France, and Germany. I wish I could ask him more detailed questions. He lived to 99 years old and served his country well. Samuel Cataleno from Springfield Pa.
ОтветитьExcellent!
ОтветитьImpressive, but Dragonman's collection in Colorado Springs is still the best in the USA.
ОтветитьCool tour lots of unique artifacts
ОтветитьVery Nice! Wunderschöne Sammlung und viele Grüße aus Deutschland - Sammelplatz Militaria
ОтветитьI find it amazing that Adolf Hitler has such a devout following of people interested in his life,, the fact that he orchestrated the deaths of 6 million Jews, not to mention his own civilians and the millions that fell as a result of his propaganda machine should be enough to qualify him as the greatest manipulator of the human condition, not to mention the worlds greatest sociopath or psychopath,, serial killers dont normally get this much attention
