A long-awaited government review will directly link illegal migration to the exploitation of British girls by grooming gangs, The Sun has learned. The National Audit on Group-Based Child Sexual Exploitation, led by Baroness Louise Casey, is expected to be released next week.
Sources say the report highlights a connection between undocumented migrants and abuse, sparking concerns within the Home Office over potential unrest. While officials declined to comment on the findings, a spokesperson said protecting vulnerable children remains a top priority.
The audit aims to uncover national patterns in grooming gang activity, including demographics and ethnicity.
This comes as seven men in Rochdale were convicted of raping and abusing two teenage girls over five years, often in squalid locations. Several of the abusers, who groomed the girls from age 13, were Pakistani-born stallholders.
