It is so weird how piezoelectric crystals work. Who came up with that bright idea?
ОтветитьWhy do you wet the glass before breaking it, when you use the scoring knife?
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant......i bet this guy never have to buy gifts most of the time for those special days of our life........he makes them😉.
ОтветитьI WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU MAKE MY NAME OUT OF GLASS...LAURA
ОтветитьDo you need to anneal them at that size? If so, does it have to be a kiln that’s used?
ОтветитьOh my i love this guy
ОтветитьReally cool and awesome tutorial, not many people are as calm as you when doing this
ОтветитьWhy graphite?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьAMAZING!
ОтветитьWatch out for those big flint spark starters. They ca deposit crud on the face of your torch if you do it a lot
Ответить@Lu Libby

Wow I never thought it would be possible to play around glass like this without glass blowing... thanks so much for sharing will check more out. Please make a sunflower :-)
ОтветитьI've been wanting to do this for years so I could make myself a big bong LOL
ОтветитьIt's interesting that you said that a graphite rod helps for making round loops and whatnot, but what exactly is it used for and how do you use it properly? What are some things to avoid doing with it, to either avoid mistakes or keep the tool from becoming damaged?
Ответитьdo these smaller pieces require anealing?

ОтветитьHuge thanks for this video gives me so much more confidence in my set up to just get at it!
ОтветитьMy daughter wants to do exactly what you're doing in the video. Torches are prohibitively expensive. However, my father is a retired welder. He has torches, tanks, and regulators. Can I use that equipment to get started?
ОтветитьThis is one of my new favorite videos on the internet. I'm an artist/craftier myself, so this is just a fun vibe. I enjoyed this window into your workstation. Relatable
ОтветитьCan I use Beyiwod O2 Medical MD 2.5L tanks for flamework? Can I get them refilled?
ОтветитьHello, I got some equipment and made a probe with an unknown composition, you can briefly explain to me that you use borosilicate glass and whether I could get it, to have more success, thank you
ОтветитьDoesn’t it needed to be annealed?
ОтветитьIf you got a triangular file you don't like and a grinder you can make a scoring knife takes less then 1 minutes if you're good on a grinder and you don't do the whole knife.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing what you know. I was trained by an old Slavic man was a master tradesman and machinist. There is nothing more valuable then getting to learn at the hands of a master in their trade.
ОтветитьTorch machine
ОтветитьCould you guide me to info that will help me learn to construct simple frameworks from 3 or 4mm boro rod, I am trying to make marble runs, so how can I replicate the spiral lifts and track joining half hoops that you see in the systems using copper rod, and soldering!!
Will joints made using a tiny torch need subsequent tempering etc etc
