After the 5th "cute" I was done.
ОтветитьI usually skip regular goodwill- go to clearance or even bins. I tend to go to smaller thrift stores, St V's ( which is also getting pricier) and Free on craiglist or marketplace. They need to ALL price to sell and for turnover- their backrooms are usually packed
ОтветитьIs someone vacuuming in the background?? Ill have to leavw this video for now, sorry
Ответить$10??? Crazy
ОтветитьLove thrifting videos❤
ОтветитьGoogle search see what things are going for
ОтветитьYour puffer jacket is too close to your mic, the sound is really disturbing
ОтветитьPlease stop donating to goodwill people. They are way to high on prices
ОтветитьI will not shop goodwill anymore. To expensive.
ОтветитьI dont shop or donate to good will any longer.
They got so greedy with pricing FREE inventory!
Wow! That was an amazing day thrifting! You literally made me LOL when you said, “I don’t need anymore baskets,” but then you bought one. I do the same thing! I also have regrets for not buying something and regrets when I buy something I can’t really use. But it’s all fun in the hunt. You have a beautiful home.
ОтветитьGoodwill is ridiculous with prices.
ОтветитьLoud vacuuming
ОтветитьIt's snowing there in the middle of August?😮
ОтветитьI have more fun junking than at Gwill. Nothing good about it anymore.😭
ОтветитьIn Ireland the trifling / Charity shops have gone mad with prices
ОтветитьOn your three turn-of-the-century lady’s in the Gold Frames…. Think of adding a pink or blue gingham ribbon above them dressing them up. You can hang them from this type of bow too. ❤
ОтветитьI'm getting tired of Goodwill prices they're too pricey for their little stuff 🐸
Ответитьi don't know anything definite about the pretty glass vase in the Salvation Army that you asked if we knew anything about, but it looks a LOT like the vase with a beautiful bouquet of flowers my husband ordered from a florist for me at the birth of our 4th baby, December 1982. And you were looking for copper items, I haven't tried it, but I wonder if there is a good brand of copper paint that could be sprayed on cool looking thrifted metal items...?
ОтветитьGoodwill especially, but also Salvation Army have things priced ridiculously high! The ones in my county ( WAYNE, yucky S.E. Michigan). You can buy it BRAND NEW at T.J.MAXX, Hobby Lobby , JoAnn's AND sometimes $ Tree!!! Disgusting. There would never ever be ANYTHING for 99¢. There was a story in a newspaper about 2 mos. ago where a police officer took a homeless woman w/o shoes in raggedy clothes, elderly and asked if they could GIVE a pair of shoes to her. The cashier said she didn't think so, but he could ask manager. Mgr. came and said NO! Young guy maybe late 20's. The Police Officer looked shocked! He explained he just found her on sidewalk shoeless. NO again. How about a pair of SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS? " NO, we are a business not a hand out for the homeless." The officer said something under his breath, took the elderly woman to pick out shoes. She started to pick out flip flops for $6! The officer said these look some better, try these on. They were cream colored, beat up , flat shoes for $12!!!!!! He bought them for her, looking disgusted at the mgr. A crowd had gather when they heard the mgr. say the first NO, and someone filmed on their phone camera. The cashier handed the officer the shoes. The officer said: She would like a bag." Cashier er replied" we don't have any." The officer walked out the door holding her arm and loudly said" Let's go get a burger!" Shamefull! I use to look for old bks. in there, they seemed reasonable; but refuse to shop either place after that.😑 Subscribed after seeing your video before this ( my first, about baby coming in Sept. and just finished your redecorating diningrm.) Love that you are a sister-in-Christ and post His Word. Thank you🤗
ОтветитьI don't shop at Goodwill anymore and other people are saying the same thing their prices are too high
ОтветитьDid you miss a green crock bowl?
ОтветитьLove your vidios !!😊❤
ОтветитьWow way too expensive for a thrift store. I'm better going to my local hubbard house thrift store or salvation army
ОтветитьNever will I ever solicit Goodwill!
ОтветитьSo glad you picked up the green bottle i was going get it get it love the plates
ОтветитьGoodwill is more expensive than Wal-Mart
Ответитьdont need anymore baskets...puts the next basket in your cart. lol! I do the exact same thing. I cant help it. I like to think that I'm saving for a huge wall shelf display of baskets showcasing all the beautiful ones I've found or they always come in handy for storage.
ОтветитьNeat old house, love the radiators !! Where do you live that you collect boats and see Mullet lake signs?
ОтветитьNew follower here. Love the thrifting videos with the styling after. The icing on the cake is the scripture at the end. Thank you
ОтветитьNeed to find another word beside “cute “ to describe items
ОтветитьI really like your style! That was a cupcake holder.
ОтветитьI looked up the pioneer womN green sugar shaker it selling on macari for 40
00
I like that you go a little bit slower, so we can join you better. But please, if I got a dollar every time you say “cute”, I would be rich by now. So please, chose some other adjective once in a while. Thank you
ОтветитьA descriptive word other than “cute”, please!
Ответить+😮❤😂
ОтветитьI would have bought those window mirrors for my outdoor shed!
ОтветитьYou have a beautiful style and soul. Thank you for taking me thrifting with you, it was fun. God bless you!
Ответить❓I don't want to see anything religious. I just wanted to see household decorations.
ОтветитьPlz make a video on your crockery collection
ОтветитьI live the plates and the turkey platter. I want one now. You got me thinking of that vase. It was pretty, I don't really use vases but I probably would have gotten it. I liked the first milk glass item you had. Great haul, now I'm in a thrify mood. 😅
ОтветитьYour style seems more vintage than antique. You seem to love all the stuff that was so common when I was growing up in the 60's/70's. It's wierd how trends come back around again.
Ответить"Definately don't need anymore baskets" ...adds basket to cart. 😂😂😂 SO me!!
ОтветитьEveryone is calling them out, East coast to West coast, Goodwill has lost their price minds! And their Corporate isn't listening, and doesn't care. So they've shot themselves in the foot. We're all shopping local, privately owned thrift stores now, and donating our stuff to those owners as well. I had a manager at Goodwill literally snap at me "We price an item comparable to its retail value. That's policy!" Well.... that's just wrong.
ОтветитьI have noticed that there are less people and less inventory at my local Goodwill, I wonder if their high prices could be part of the reason???
ОтветитьPlease pray and consider the fourth commandment KJV reminds us of Genesis 2:2&3. Jesus is our example EVEN the forty days after His resurrection!
ОтветитьIf people would stop buying at those prices, they would price down some but that won't happen.😢
ОтветитьOh wow Elizabeth you did score! What an awesome trip and haul I squealed when I saw a couple of things 😂
My fave this trip was the gold pic frames, 2 gold baskets, fabrics and milk glass basket (my grandmother had one of those always thought it was so beautiful as a child) thanks for taking us along. I hope you have a blessed weekend. 💕
I like that you are selective
