We've already seen the "skill" of the Indian Air Force. Achieve total surprise entering Pakistani airspace, yet miss every single target, and get one of their aircraft swatted out of the sky. Then make up claims about shooting down an F-16, and provide no proof for days before presenting pictures of images on a radar screen that we're supposed to take their word is accurate. No wonder India buddie sup to Russia so much, the two share the habit of hyping up their militaries only to fail spectacularly.

The Indians and their Su-30 MKI actually had a dogfight against the American F-16 ...sort of. There were also present, if I remember correctly, some British Eurofighters and if my memory serves me, some French Rafales as well. It was a Red Flag-type exercise in the US. They were divided into teams of allies and adversaries, all using the said fighter planes. The Indians got their notoriety for getting into an advantageous position during a dogfight against some adversary in the sky, and then asking politely: "But... is he an enemy...?" 🙂 The Americans were fighting by the rule "If he flies, he dies" (also known as: "Shoot first, we'll sort out the dead later"), so before long, the Indian pilots were all readily shot down. And they did it (again, if I remember correctly) for three days in a row - which didn't prevent them for smiling a shy smile every time they got out of their cockpits, and remaining very kind and polite until they went back home. This was not so many years ago (perhaps five or seven), and even now the memory makes me smile!

Is thrust vectoring modeled in game? Be curious to see how that changes the outcomes… I’m not even too clear on how it works irl. If integrated in fcs, with stick maneuvering auto-engaging it based on input; or if you have to enable / engage that mode.

Su30mki is pretty much toe to toe against F15,16 or F18, the problem comes against F35 and F22, even F35 is killable, if happens to be in a close fight, but F22, in no case.

Really fun video. Loved the dogfights. A lot of great flying all around but that move by Scott was a thing of beauty. Double kill MVP.

this fight is not really a good match. Both these aircrafts are different category and are used for different purposes. Try the Tomcat vs. the Su-30 MKI....or may be an F-15 could be pit against it.
