Saroo console looks like ass. These are original units they chopped up and put into a plastic clear case? Stick to the cart and leave the consoles alone!

Have you tried a Mister FPGA yet? They are doing DE10 nano clones pretty cheap now. It plays Saturn games on CRT or HDMI.

Seems to be a great time for the Saturn atm. We have this Saroo cartridge for original system owners, superb emulation which now runs extremely well and isn't that demanding either, plus the FPGA stuff too. I would never have thought back in 1998 that it would get a second wind in 2024!

That European Saturn pad was truly awful. The Japanese one was so much nicer.

"Dreamcast" will always be my favourite CD based SEGA system..Cannon spike, Incoming, Red Dog, were fantastic!..
I have all SEGA cartridge based, but no Saturn..

Need to be careful with those Chinese carts. People tested them and found the voltage on many was causing Alot of additional wear on your hardware. Not trying to push people to buy a certain product but you could ruin your Saturn to save 75$. Not a great plan if you ask me.

Love my Sega Saturn. The majority of my games are Japanese ones that use the 4mb cartridge. 😁

I wanted to own Sega Saturn myself. But, I ended a PS1 player. For the same reason as you, Wicked. Back then (during the console's lifespan), Sega Saturn was nowhere to be found. I saw PAL release ONLY once and that was online.
It appears that Sega really, really, REALLY did not wanted to sell Saturn outside of the Land of the Rising Sun™
