For a second, I thought Billy Zane also carried one in Sniper with Tom Berenger, but it was a different variation of the HK G3/91/PSG Hollywood hybrid thing.

That Set Trigger System is genius. I'm surprised that option/technology hasn't been utilized for other modern firearms to this day. Very unique and cool

Wish PTR made a clone of the SG1 series or at least the trigger pack.

Does the set trigger work even in the fully automatic position?

Great video, they are pretty accurate. I wasn't a big fan of the trigger however, the PSG being much more straight forward to use.

Hi, I have a question. Why is the charging handle requires me so much strength to open? Charging is easy, but opening the charging handle is so difficult. Is it always like this?

Do you happen to know the technical reason behind why the G3, MP5 and HK33 were given both magazine release paddles as well as the button on the right side that does the same thing? I have always wondered this. Thanks.

I served over 50 years ago in the BW with the Paratrooper version.
1 Friend of mine from Norway served also over 50 years ago in the Telemark Batallion as a Sniper.
They had this G3-SG1, they trained on 800 meter distance.
He said this rifle was very accurate.

I don’t really like this specific auto sniper, it has a low accuracy compared to a scar 20, although it’s a good gun, there is better than it.
Although all of my knowledge is from video games so please tell me if I’m wrong
