Is THIS the Strongest Version of the Gotei 13 in the History of Bleach? TYBW + The Lost Agent

Gotei 13 of pre quincy invasion but post fullbring arc has support of individuals like Urahara, Yoruichi and Ichigo who are big assets themselves. Urahara and Yoruichi are now free of bureaucratic control of Central 46 and Ichigo was somebody at which they don't have right to exercise control plus sentiment in Gotei 13 captain and lieutenant soldiers favors Ichigo a lot.

If we are including lieutenants, then I will sat that strongest Gotei 13 was probably Gotei 13 of Turn back the pendulum arc with Aizen as lieutenant, Urahara and Yoruichi as captain.

everything was solid here, but Tosen being weaker than Kensei, is a terrible take
its extremely obvious that Tosen would decimate Kensei, especially when Hisagi's Bankai is stronger than his own Captain

Kenpachi also grew stronger during the time skip due to the events of spirits are forever with you, being at the level of hollowfied ichigo. Kensei, and all the vizards, are way more impressive than people think. Mayuri is absolutely a downgrade from Urahara in every way.

If they had full power kenpachi, plus two arms yama, adult toshiro, byakuya with training and mayuri then yeah they would probably be the strongest. But if iba is captain plus no Vizards masks? They MIGHT lose half the captains

Just gotta count the number of Special War Threats and which ones, the gotei that has the most of them and the most dangerous ones wins, A.K.A Turn Back the pendulum where Both Aizen and Urahara are present as members.

As others have already mentioned. It's hard to say Soul Society Arc's Gotei 13 is the strongest, bcuz we have to take in the character's stances & goals. Aizen & Gin are both hiding their real strength due to their goals so both would never use their powers unless it's a fight to the death situation. Which in this case, yes the Soul Society Arc would probably be the strongest. Very likely even stronger than the 1st generation just from Yama & Aizen alone.

But if we were to take in stances & goals, then Aizen & Gin would continue to hide their strength.

I got this version fourth in terms of strength .
1. the soul society arc gin tosen and aizen on top of the old man yamma restu shunsui and joshiro with byakuya and kenpachi they were at least ten deep.
2 the original gotei come on prime Yama and unohana come on
3 turn back the pendulum arc come on toshiro was a third seat
4 . then its this group
5 . the arrancar arc was kinda meh
6 then the group with eba as a captain is damn near trash

Other than the obvious few with completely broken abilities, a majority of the captains were losing against FODDER stern ritters. Even the strongest of the captains, yammamoto, allowed himself to be tricked by a fodder character.

I like to wonder what if Yamamoto, Unohana, and Chojiro had lived and were taken to the royal palace to be boosted by squad zero

I feel like Ichigo should be included in the first invasion line up because by that point in the series he was basically an honorary member of the Goatei 13 and would definitely be there to help.

I've always wondered why the new leadership of the Kido corp has never been seen after Tessai and Hacchi.

I think not including known seated officers does those characters a disservice, Ikkaku being the most obvious exclusion, but with people like Akon and Yumichika also easily sliding into vice captain power levels if not for extenuating circumstances.

Despite Old Man Yama's overwhelming power the newer Gotei is Stronger

post Royal Palace Byakuya made quick work of Robert who severely injured Shunsui albeit Shunsui underestimated the Quincies and wasn't in the mindset he needed to be in. Not only that but Byakuya became strong enough to fight several Sternritter at the same time who previously had the upper hand over every Captain but Yama and Unohana. Rukia killed As Nodt who brought Byakuya to the brink of death with her newley achieved Bankai no telling how strong she becomes after the time skip getting a better handle or even potientially mastering her Bankai. Renji proved to be stronger than 2 senior Vizard Captains after his Bankai upgrade. Kenpachi got the biggest power up of all, he killed three Sterniritter to start the arc but then was proven no match Royd Loyd with part of Ywhach's power and Unohana until she basically killed and revived him to be stronger dozens of times. Not only did Kenpachi defeat essentially a reality warper but got even stronger after that. Light Novels stated Kenpachi Reiatsu was transcendent, I bet he grew more powerful than Yama over time. Hitsugaya's adult form is so strong unless you have an immortal that can regenerate in an instant like Yhwach, Gerard, or Lille it's basically impossible to defeat.

Do what if ichibe forced ichigo to be the soulking

The strongest Gotei 13 is at the end of the series. We have to remember that every current captain and liutenant survived the battle with Aizen. Then, in Aizen arc or TYBW arc, everyone got a major boost up - though a heavy training in Seiretei or heavenly training in squad 0 quarters or getting hollow powers or Mayuri's shady experiments or finding the truth about family background (which sounds insignificant, but is crucial for bonding with the zanpaktou).
It all resulted in the characters' development and huge power boost. Then, current captains and liutenants had a lot of time to perfect their new abilities, to mature and get even stronger. So Hell Arc Gotei is the strongest Gotei in history.
Also we don't really know what first squad was capable of. Sure, they have incredibly cool design, but still, we don't know if they are Kenpachi-strong, or rather base-Komamura-strong.

about the tosen vs kensei debate, i do think tosen is still an overall better captain due to his qualifications, well ofc kenesi has the raw power and his hollowfication can give him a tremendous boost but in every other aspect tosen is better, and in a 1v1 i think tosen takes it due to his battle iq and experience and that his abilities are far better than kensei's

Aizen is 2nd strongest arguably 1st

Man Renji really did get absurdly strong at the end of the series. Like only 4, maybe 5 CAPTAINS out of 13 are arguably stronger than him, and none of the other vice captains even compare.

Hot take! I think Yamamoto died on purpose. Think about it: he 2100 year old and has been the #1 for the majority of it. Whats the point of having underlings if they're not gonna be able to lead the next generation. He fights Aizen and loses an arm. At this point instead of getting a new one he just say f@$k it ill fight with 1 arm. Mind u all of his opponents are prepped, on par or just as strong, if not stronger than he is. And its been stated that he gone soft. If u notice in the series a lot of the big bads get jump by the MC working and syncing their abilities. The bad guys do it too but Yamamoto was like f@$k it, ill just fight by myself. I really think he stopped caring. Lmao.😂😂😂

Of all the captain's in the whole Bleach saga so far, it'd be a great idea to choose the strongest/most broken 13 captain's who'd make the strongest gotei 13. We'd have to assume that time doesn't matter, considering some younger captain's have potential to be stronger compared to some ancient ones. Just for the fun of it

Not taking about the light novel here, only about the canon. Everyone overestimates Hisagi`s Zanpakuto so much. It is just a double scythe with a chain. That`s it. It is among the Zanpakuto that were only a shape and had no additional abilities. We`ve had quite a few of those at the beginning of the story.

Being honest i think the TBTP arc gotei is slightly stronger than the Soul society arc version (Going based off captains, i guess it'd be the same with lieutenants because aizen is a liutenant). The Yama, Ukitatke, Shunsui, Unohana quartet and lets just say Aizen and Kisuke cancels each other out, the difference really lies in the remaining captains. i think yoruichi and gin should be somewhat relative with there being a case for either one, for gin his bankai was able to one shot ascended aizen, for yoruichi she has feats damaging chrysalis aizen and is seen as much faster so they're close to a wash, if anything current day yoruichi is seen as being rusty compared to her captain self so she'd get the nod as a captain. For the remainder of SS captains you have beginning of series versions of Mayuri, Kenpachi, Hitsugaya, Soi fon, and Komamura who all have super sub par captain feats, Byakuya (who's solid) and tosen who also has a really bad showing but we're not really sure if captain tosen was holding back in his fight or did he actually get stronger after leaving the ss. For the remainder of TBTP captains you have Ginrei Kuchiki (no clue of his strong he is but just going off basics he's a older captain which usually denotes strength, and he's from a noble family which also usually denotes strength, Byakuya isnt seen as any sort of prodigy so i doubt a younger byakuya would be as strong as an older Ginrei, my personal headcannon puts him at end arrancar arc/beginning of fullbring arc byakuya level), Shinji, Love, and rose who i see as mid tier captains, Kensei and kempachi kiganjo who i see as low tier captains, and assumedly isshin Shiba (never confirmed who was 10th captain at this time but he's the only 10th captain we know of other than hitsugaya so he gets it by default) who i see as a mid tier captain at least. The TBTP arc's weaker captains were still far stronger than the SS arcs weaker captains. The top 6 for both arcs beng virtually equal, while the 9,10, and 11 (Isshin, Love, Rose) from the turn back the pendulum arc being as strong likey stonger than the 7 (Byakuya) for the SS arc.

This is my favorite version of the gotei 13 no matter the strength levels the guys from the soul society arc who didn’t betray the gotei are there and the visoreds get their jobs back .basically perfect to me !

I think the 12th does improve as you have to expect Akon has been training too. He is worthy of being a lieutenant at the end of Tybw so you have to imagine at the beginning of that arc they've improved. I think Mayori Tybw beats Pendulum Kisuke too as he's grown, become more intelligent and stronger. A fight with both of them in the same time period would be very interesting to see, I'd guess Kisuke would win.

I think that, well, Aizen dampened the Soul Society as a whole personally. Like, Aizen doing Aizen things that come full circle from when he was part of the Gotei 13 into the Arrancar Arc... well, we know that everyone thought that it worked more or less similar to Shinji's, meaning that he's been deceptive of his powers, was around a lot less, and more or less helped build up the Arrancars 0-9 into a cohesive force in addition to their underlings as well (I forget the spelling, but Halibell's TEAM? Girls... I'm just gonna go with Halibell and her girls as being, I believe two or three non-numbered Arrancar that hang around with a numbered one), so he's actively downplaying his abilities, lying about doing things, removing Central 46 from the equation and giving out the orders he wants to have happen, essentially controlling Central 46, AND actively was building the opposing force in Hueco Mundo in secret, all while doing, very little, like I think the one thing Aizen does, aside from pretending to be dead, in the Soul Society Arc is really declare that the war between him and his forces and those of the Soul Society goes into full effect.

So while, yes, a capable combatant, I do believe that he likely did effectively nothing for them that wasn't equally against them and the interests of the Soul Society as a whole. So personally I feel like the TRUE loss in the transition from Soul Society Arc Gotei 13 to this version, The Lost Agent/Beginning TYBW, is really Gin Ichimaru... perhaps, Tousen could've been talked off the ledge... but it's implied that he created White, and was fully dedicated to eradicating the Soul Society over what happened before joining the Gotei 13... so, I feel like that was a relatively minimal loss comparative to losing Gin, who might've insisted he be locked up if he had survived his assault on Aizen... but again, he's like, the only one I'd consider a TRUE loss since, again, Aizen was up to a lot of shady shit and I believe he removed a Soul King fragment from Rangiku, which may have hindered her growth, and like, this guy, he didn't do anything for the Gotei 13 that he didn't equally take away from them. So I think putting Aizen in the Soul Society Arc as a contributing force for the Gotei 13 isn't really accurate, sure, TYBW, he is, but pre-TYBW, he just isn't helping out the Gotei 13, if anything he's doing his best to hinder them before he obtains the Hogyoku and peaces out to start a war, that he likely wanted to start closer to how TYBW first assault went later on...

Is it the strongest?! 😂😂😂 short answer, no. Everyone who actually made an impact in the outcome of the war wasn’t a captain…Aizen, Urohara, Ichigo, Uryu, Tsukishima, Oriheme, the list goes on… take them out of the equation (not to mention squad zero) and the Gotei gets dog walked

I agree that the average power level of the Soul Society Arc captaincy was higher than that of the Lost Agent Arc, but I do think the Lost Agent Arcs captaincy was stronger as a unit. Aizen was insanely strong, but he spent pretty much his whole tenure as a captain thwarting the organization whichever way he could, and Tosen was basically his pawn. Gin is a different story, but I don't think he made up for the significant liability that Aizen was. Besides, Gin, while loyal, was definitely not a team player.
