People Try Portuguese Food For The First Time

This is not Portuguese food.

THIS IS NOT PORTUGUESE FOOD THIS IS DISCUSTING

Portuguese food has nothing for vegetarians which leaves many people dissatisfied. Next thing is that being coastal country they have fish as a major part of cuisine which even lot non vegetarian people don't prefer much.
Not to demean but even after lurking in almost whole globe and getting spices from there, the food still has only salt as a spice, some have baby leaf and garlic as addition , a few times you might find some black pepper or sweet chilli sause otherwise the food is spiceless and I call it "feeka-beswada".
If you eat any dessert there be ready to sugarcoat your tongue, all are extremely sweet.

So the pov is that Indians can't like food anywhere. They might develop thing for pizza, burgers, pasta, Chinese food for a few days but at the end Indian cuisine will overwhelm everything.

Only thing ivve learned is that theses mfs cant cook
Ivve ate the same thing lots of times and it didnt look like it was left in a microwave for 2 days without touching it

I love Portuguese cuisine but where’s the Casola Sandwich on a Portuguese roll. I know I’m SIMPLE.
Al’s Cafe on Belleville Ave. in New Bedford got the best Casola I ever ate. 😋

As a Brazilian, I think the Portuguese food is one of the most underrated things ever.
Once you try Francesinha, Bolinho de Bacalhau and Pasteis de Nata, you cannot go back.

This is a s***ty representation of Portuguese food. Just God awful. That francesinha looked like it was pulled from a microwave dinner. The sardine salad was made with canned sardines instead of using fresh grilled ones and it's missing at least 2 other veggies. The bacalhau a' bras was not even worthy of discussing. Whoever made this clearly has never been to Portugal or to a decent portuguese restaurant.

Ive been to portugal twice and i can already say this video was horribly inaccurate and really did portugal dirty, their food is sensational and this video made it look like they cant cook

Would love if these videos came with more of an educational aspect; having a Portuguese person behind the cameras providing a pronunciation of the food, and giving details such as the region in which this dish is primarily consumed. I fear this video hasn't done justice to Portugal's fine cuisine. It's renowned for its fresh fish dishes, so tinned fish doesn't seem truly representational :(
