Elaina sister too went thru the stages of doubt , atheism like many Ismailis. Every Ismaili who gives up this religion goes thru a journey of self doubt. Unfortunately some become Agonistic and some Atheist as they are so disgusted and feel cheated. It is only later ( that could be a few days or decades) that they revert back to Islam. Allah swt gives hidayat to whom he wills.
Aziz Morani angst should be patiently dealt with. He and his forefathers ( maybe generations) have been cheated of wealth and made fool of by Ismailism in the name of religion. Same goes for Salim Lalani. But Salim Lalani is channeling his angst respectfully and bravely by educating the Ismailis and pleading with them not to give their money into jamatkhanas and not to do shirk explaining to the viewers how Ismailism is a lie and not Islam. He has yet not crossed over ( Inshallah he will some day) but patient hearing should be given to him and other ismailis who leave this religion. It is only with sabr and support of Elaina , her team and the muslim community that they will crossover one day. In the meantime one should have patient dialogue with Salim Lalani and help him in at least getting the Ismailis out from the snare clutches of the cult as this is also a difficult part . Elaina and Salim both are in their own way trying to get people to understand the corporate business named Ismaili
