ОтветитьHello, I have a question...for anyone who can help me.🙂 I have a W202 250 TD, 1997., idle is to high, about 900rpm. There is no air in the fuel lines, that has been taken care.of and since than it starts great at any position and there is no fuel going back to the tank. Could it be the shutoff valve on the pump because it has a fuel temperature sensor and my diagnostic tool says there is one fault code, the mentioned fuel temperature sensor?

ОтветитьHi, my EDC pump is leaking at the rear end .... can I change the gasket just taking off the black plate by myself ( not and experience mechanich ) or have some trick ? or have to take off the whole pump to change it ?, thanks

Wonderful content! Thank you for posting this! I can't help asking, can that timing adjuster be actuated while the engine is running? Would there be benfit to having a computerized injector timing actuator which varied timing based off MAP, RPM, and throttle position?

ОтветитьI have a problem with my pump on cylinder 1 it seems the pump is giving the injector way too much fuel, smoking like a train, I had a mechanic replace injector seals and I wonder if he never changed the copper washers or messed up assembly of those small plunger parts right under the DV. He claims to be a factory trained merc mechanic with over 40 years experience so I trusted him. Now I have to find out for myself any info will help.
