Misha, on M cars always use the 3rd “fastest” setting for DCT, i was told by my tuner use it only for hard driving, higher clamping force on the clutch, less chance of slip, and crisper upshifts, immediate downshifts.

I remember the first M5 When I was 18. The quality was awesome and the power raw. This is famtastic. I do not think the concept was lost, although I keep hearing the brakes are not as good on the F10 'comparitively' speaking of course. The E34's brakes were fantastic.

F10 M5 is by far the best M5 in my opinion. Great classy looks, RWD, awesome DCT or Manual options, 575hp, sounds great, what more can you want!

You actually do have to replace the rod bearings on the f10 also

I feel like this generation M5 has the least diference between normal 544i or whatever its called and the M5. Others are more special like its a whole new car, this feels like just another trim of same car

He had the transmission on the second setting and zeross.... come on dude! Sport cup 2's or some ps4s would have the car taking corners A LOT BETTER !

E60 M5 didn’t have rod bearing issues. It had owner issues who didn’t let the engines warm up. I mean, it used 10W-60 weight oil.

Always stick with stock.

The owners manual recommends changing the rod bearings every 10 laps 😂

I have had the 2014 version and im in love with the car, but the only issues i have had in the last 2 years of owning it is i had to change the wishbone jointball and i also have an issue with it running lean, ive had it checked out but no one seems to know what the issue is.

Must be quite a challenge to avoid hitting a cone at the start.
