That is a awesome looking spitfire I’ve done the 1/72 scale kit from eduard with the same scheme
ОтветитьVery nice! I made the same kit but the wash reacted with the varnish and messed everything up. You on the other hand did this plane justice. It looks just like the real thing
ОтветитьLooks great! Wondering why didn't you use the Eduard 1/48 Aussie Eight kit?
ОтветитьBeautiful job
ОтветитьExceptional work. Congrats!
ОтветитьBeautiful Spit!
ОтветитьNice build. Thanks for sharing! Just one note, your tabs on your flight controls are deflected in the wrong direction. A tab goes in the opposite direction to that of the surface it is on.
ОтветитьGreat build - meticulously done. Cockpit was extra good and the framing set it off nicely. I, too, think weathering and chipping can be overdone. Subtlety here! I do like lots of white petrol oxide aft of the exhausts, which built up on "busy" aircraft.
ОтветитьNice build mate came up beautiful can i ask why you added rivets on the prop cheers
ОтветитьGorgeous work!
ОтветитьFantasic work, it's a shame all that lovely detail will be hard to see in cockpit now the fuselage is buttoned up. The Spitfire is the most beautiful warbird IMHO, and my favourite since I was a kid
ОтветитьFirst video of your that I've seen - excellent work and finesse in the finishing. Going to check some more now....
Best from New Zealand.
Fantastic work! Certainly shows in the final reveal. Incredibly beautiful model of one of my all-time favorite planes. Congratulations!
ОтветитьNow, that is a thing of great beauty!
ОтветитьVery informative video, and a great result👍
ОтветитьA very nice build and nice subtle weathering. I must try an Eduard kit- I recently built the Tamiya Mk1 Spitfire (I built it as the recently restored N3200, which I had the opportunity of sitting in) and thought it was the best engineered kit I've ever done, so it would be interesting to compare the two.
ОтветитьExcelent job!
ОтветитьStunning build mate! I'm lucky that the real thing is only a two hour drive away from me in Temora. Can I ask what colour you used for the cockpit? I typically use Vallejo Model Air. I'm yet to settle on a spit interior green. Keep up the good work and thanks!
Ryan
What an absolute masterpiece!!! Bravo, love it
ОтветитьStunning simply stunning, nothing more you can say.
ОтветитьWow- absolutely stunning. I have this model yet to build. Can I ask what size (mm) airbrush and what pressure you run please.
Personally I think this is the best looking Merlin model and you have made it look like the real Aussie machine ( There is a grey Nurse Mk VIII at Temora NSW, Australia)
Love the work this kit is on my wish list, I got to see this spit in the flesh in 2008 at Temora Australia.
ОтветитьAwesome job!
ОтветитьDamn!!!! Just subd
ОтветитьGreat build. Your detailing is amazing.
ОтветитьWhere did you get that bottle opener?
ОтветитьAbsolutely incredible!! Inspirational
ОтветитьSzia.Nagyon szép lett.🙂Pont ezt a makettet kezdtem el a napokban,csak a Profipack verziót.A kabinhoz kaptam a videódból néhány tippet.🙂
ОтветитьA fantastic choice of subject and a beautifully looking build.
I’m personally looking forward to seeing this particular aircraft in October.
When I will be attending the Warbirds Downunder Airshow, held in Temora, New South Wales.
