Would like to see some videos from EV owners in Buffalo NY area.
ОтветитьIf you want to market this as a cruiser then sorry. It needs to be a hybrid. Maybe plug in hybrid with a 70kwh battery. That would check all the boxes.
ОтветитьThat thing is awesome.
ОтветитьSo jealous of the charging station! Can we ask Ionity to build the charging infrastructure in the US please???
Ответитьit was dump, around 0 C, with heater on, probably winter tires (and not fully pumped, by looks at the back) etc. now get any ev with similiar specs and do test again to comment performance, please.
ОтветитьThis car looks beautiful. I would use as my daily driver. But the price is something what I cant really understand 😀
ОтветитьWow Norway is tiny. North America is much larger. For city dwellers it's fine. Going on a road trip through the Rocky Mountains? Have to plan it carefully haha.
ОтветитьThis would make a interring car for Uber driver the 7 seater model
ОтветитьDon't worry guys, China will supply Norway with coal fired power plant smoke, that Norway is not.
ОтветитьWie kann man nur noch Tetris spielen, wenn es Tesla gibt ?
ОтветитьHere in Northern Virginia last winter, a crazy traffic jam stranded thousands of vehicles on commuter highways for more than 24 hours in the cold. At least some electric vehicles ran out of battery and needed to be towed. A tow truck can bring an ICE vehicle a small can of gas to get them to the gas station. Is there an equivalent short-term solution for EVs? I’m thinking of a large portable battery. Would it be hard to charge from such a device?
ОтветитьThe UK Tesla public chargers are now at 65p per kWh and Ionity and others are similar for the faster charger points. This equates to around 30p PER MILE! Double that of my diesel SUV, and I take 4 minutes for 500 miles of range!!! And with electricity costs still rising, I am looking only at PHEVs now and no way would purchase any BEV at this stage.
ОтветитьWhat joke of a vehicle
ОтветитьLooks clean in one color.
Ответитьthey need to build bigger more comfortable vehicles to accommodate more battery. so they need to build with 600 actual miles in mind. 300 KW battery pack. space, size, height, bigger. why keep building little small, build bigger and put in enough battery. put in way more battery. 2.2 x 300 = 660 miles / that's plenty for a day. a charge at 330 miles of usage, for 15 mins, would be painful but doable. otherwise let's move to hydrogen.
Ответитьoh well. its a rather thirsty beast but what did you expect from a van. it still has enough range to be functional if it charges reasonably fast.
ОтветитьThey have Circle K in Norway?
ОтветитьReally like the fan looks great why on Earth do they put a tablet sticking out of the dash? It looks like someone stuck a Galaxy tablet to the dash with some chewing gum really don't like the tablet look.
Ответить🤑🛌
ОтветитьKyle, really enjoyed watching this as I loved the Buzz right from the concept. I’m thinking maybe it could be my ideal car at aged 63. I watched the charging performance and that significantly changes my views on range. I occasionally do road trips of circa 400-500 miles. I’d start my trip with a cheap overnight charge to 100%, then with a charging curve like this I could stop for 20-30 minutes and make a longer trip feasible and stress free. To help matters, I drive around at 55-60mph. If I swap out the 21 inch wheels for 19, do you think I could improve the range from 190 to 230 at my kind of speeds? Cheers Geoff
ОтветитьI love how the ID Buzz can look retro with a 2tone paint, or sleek futuristic in this silver (if only it was brushed/matte)
ОтветитьThe Range is nowhere near good enough for a touring vehicle. It is also overpriced. Sorry Volkswagen. Must try harder.
ОтветитьParking space not big enough for you?
ОтветитьLOVE the look and practicality of it (with a longer range battery) but for $60k+?! This car screams practical / family car but the price certainly does not. Thought I had found my GTI replacement. Nope!
Ответитьwow the range...is really disappointing, gasoline car cause more money, this thing cause life. how many 30 mins you gonna spend in that charging area.
Ответить2,5 tonnes. .... !!
70 000 euros ... !!
200 kms ( RÉELS .) !
No good in winter
Never 7 persons !
Where is the problème ?
Haha !
real time/life tests 👍
Ответить🙈☠️RIP battery
ОтветитьI'd take this version in the USA. I'd even want a smaller one. Not everyone needs a 7 seater. I like the idea of driving a box on wheels.
Ответитьwhy not tell how much that cost to charge?
Ответитьjust awesome. I am waiting to buy one immeately!!👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьSo with this too expensive van I can not reach the region of Paris on 1 charge.... My VW Caddy does it the trip (back and forth) twice on one tank. This makes no sense at all.
ОтветитьI own a Bolt and when traveling I never go more than 64 mph except for passing to extend my range. I always plan on doing short stop bumps and only go about 180 miles tops. So driving an EV is strategic. People who switch from ICE cars need to learn the new concept that battery capacity is very different from measuring liquid fuel in a tank.
Ответитьo me god feat like pig and trlalalala to much den eng elecrotrulalala
ОтветитьIt's looking like VW needs to add their version of Camp Mode or Utility mode before ID Buzz owners will be able to enjoy AC/heat during their car camping sessions. Hopefully this can be easily addressed with an Over the Air update before they begin selling here in North America. Fingers crossed 🤞!!
ОтветитьDumbest test I have ever seen. What was the purpose? Every variable you used to evaluate you already knew.
ОтветитьGood people
ОтветитьIf youre usung the cabin heater, that will severely impact the range.
Ответитьomg what a shitty range...252km on a charge is unacceptable. VW has to do way better before I would even concider getting one, waaay better
Ответитьshouldn't you be driving in D mode? B is for city driving as anytime you take your foot off the gas motor acts like a break?
ОтветитьWhat’s about the small overlap crash test?
ОтветитьEv's need to go 400+ before i think of possibly getting one
Ответитьand with 4 passengers and luggage......
ОтветитьAn ICE version would have a longer range
ОтветитьThis color is wonderfull
ОтветитьWhat a disaster not a chance I woukd get one that is crap
ОтветитьAnd now we know why the US is only getting the LWB (likely needed for the bigger battery option) - however for European urban travel, this is more than fine, don’t you think?
Ответить
