Lego City - 6566 Bank Speedbuild

Released in 1997 the LEGO® City Bank includes both the namesake building, plus a money transport vehicle, in addition to a couple of minifigures. My favourite bits of the set include the reenforced aesthetic of the vehicle, protecting against would be robbers, plus the flowers and creeping vine that add a little more life to the bank building!

Unfortunately the passage of time hasn’t been kind to my set, not only is it adorned in plenty of scratch marks, but I wasn’t able to find a few of the pieces for this build - the set should include an additional transportation safe, plus a couple of golden coins. They’ve either been lost in over the 20+ years I’ve owned the kit, or are hiding deep within a bits box somewhere!
