Originally "Picture this" was an advertising jingle song by a preschool Deborah Harry who was already using the stage name Blondie/ blonde .When working on the music video in an off limits kindergarten classroom a parasite adult onlooker reprimanded the 6-year-old old because Blondie didn't understand what it was to take a shower with someone you really like. This adult and some others raped Blondie in a public school classroom in gay friendly Long Island, New York state. In the original ad, and some music video, Blondie sings " picture this " dressed as an adult at the age of four to six years old. Nobody would have guessed Blondie was a little kid.

Now that is a brilliant performance, and it is genuinely live here. particularly, the climatic section towards the end, she demonstrates very strong and impressive vocals and similar to the studio version in vocal strength.
