Awesome video, Matt!! Hopefully tomorrow, I could get some fishing in as well! Tight lines my friend! 😎🎣
ОтветитьMatt, I love it, you are a natural.☕️☕️👍
ОтветитьReally enjoying these native excursions, Matt. Thanks for taking us along.
ОтветитьReally nice video. Thanks for doing what you do eh
ОтветитьLove fishing for brook trout in those small mountain streams. Enjoyed the video.
ОтветитьThose are nice size fish for native rookies! Thank you Matt for the video
ОтветитьGood morning Matt. ☕️. Enjoyed going along by video on your fishing excursion. We finally got some rain yesterday. Not enough to put the fires out but enough to lower the fire intensity. The news coming out of the fires is not good. Lots of homes, cottages, campgrounds and an iconic business were destroyed. The full extent of the damage is still unknown. Sounds like a chainsaw will part of your needed equipment to get into any of the lakes to fish as there are lots of downed trees and likely many more over the next few years. My wife and I were enjoying seeing it green but now it will look like it did when we lived there 45 years ago as it had burned a few years prior. Sad but it’s the boreal forest and fire plays a big role. These fires were huge, fanned by high winds and a number joined as they burned. They now cover a large area in the north central part of the province.
ОтветитьBeautiful brookies matt enjoyed the video due to physical limitations its how i fish these days tight lines 😊
ОтветитьI enjoy these fishing vids! (As well as the tying!)
What is your email address? Obviously wanting to send you something 😂
Excellent video production Matt! I can't figure out if you're Marty Stouffer of Wild America or Robin Hood with those bow and arrow casts I was eagerly waiting for. Thanks for the adventure 😀 👍
ОтветитьThat is what I call fishing! Small water, small tackle. Everyone wants to talk about the monster they caught. It is truly more challenging to catch those native trout. I have tried it several times. You made it look easy! Great video!
ОтветитьBeautiful video. Was born in Maine grew up in Massachusetts, fished both salt and fresh water, but my favorite was small streams using worms and small lures with my children and flies when alone. Gave all my spinning equipment to a grandson and fish only flies, but at 76 I stay near the road or fish ponds and lakes. Really loved the video watching for second time. Have a great day!
ОтветитьGreat video! Just a beautiful are!
Ответитьthe harder to get to area deep in the brush are the places to find magic, for a while there sounded like a rainforest good show.
ОтветитьLoved seeing this, I fished the same stream and others in the Park before moving to Alaska. Thank you so much for sharing, brought back wonderful memories!
ОтветитьLooks like you had a great time! :)
ОтветитьMatt you are definitely showing us some great Trout fishing in beautiful waters. I love the fact you are adding information on how to approach a hole. Then how to fish the hole. Great tutorial for people new to the sport. In all that you are providing, these are awesome videos. The area, the equipment, the technique and the reward. Making me want to get my feet wet. Thank you for sharing another impressive video filled with incredibly beautiful Brookies. Well done buddy. God bless.
ОтветитьLooks like fun to me. I love fishing smaller water
ОтветитьBeautiful Matt! My kind of fishing.
ОтветитьMatt that was a great video. You used all your skills 😂knee fishing for me is tough as I get older. Love those small stream trout. 👊👍
ОтветитьReally enjoyed your video I fished this river several years a go during August whent the fishing was supposed to be terrible. Like you I caught quite a few brookies out this river and Hog Camp Branch. Funniest thing was I was catching fish with hikers all around me.
ОтветитьChallenging water but you came through and found some good little holes. Glad you figured it out and caught some of those beautiful Brookies.
ОтветитьBeautiful fish and beautiful creek/river.
ОтветитьReally cool Matt! That's the same kind of fishing I do in my neck of the woods, very fun. Tight lines.
ОтветитьGreat to see you down my way Matt!! Glad you enjoyed it, and really glad to see the brookies survived the drought. I'll have to follow in your footsteps and shoot my next video there, haha. Tight lines, and thanks for another great, easy watching video!!
ОтветитьNot for nothing, but you didn’t have to say they exact stream names or parking location. Could have just said SNP. All this does is add pressure to specific streams instead of spreading people out to figure out on their own.
ОтветитьGreat scenery. Seems the only thing I catch w the bow and arrow cast is my thumb, lol.
ОтветитьThat's a gorgeous looking river, Matt. I wish I was with you fishing
Thanks for the video
Wow..What a place! Awesome video! That was a great getaway for me. Thanks a lot Matt. 👍👍👌
ОтветитьReal nice fish!
ОтветитьBrook Trout are great the way they keep coming back to the fly.
ОтветитьThere are trout in there I’ve caught them there before
ОтветитьAmazing scenery! Great video.
ОтветитьThanks Matt.
You brought back many memories of times on those trails. That kind of fishing is hard work and gives equally in rewards.
Great video as always! I've fished that stretch before, and you're right, that walk back up is a doozy! :)
ОтветитьThis would be perfect for a Tenkara Rod. Dragontail Talon Mini would be excellent!
ОтветитьI live in the Shenandoah valley and that is one of my favorite places to fish unfortunately it gets packed with people just sight seeing.
ОтветитьMesmerizing fishing, kind of 'unearthly'. Fish slowly.
ОтветитьThat parking lot gives me anxiety. I see cars, I go somewhere else. Humans are there. 😞
ОтветитьShenandoah has some of my favorite fishing waters! Wish I could make it out there a bit more often.
ОтветитьThank you for taking us on the visit to Shenandoah. Good instinct to test these waters after a hot season last year. I learn something every time I watch. I’ll be using the bow and arrow cast next time out at the stream below our house.
ОтветитьOutstanding video Matt! This was the Curtis Creek Manifesto personified. ; - ) All the very best, Gordon
ОтветитьGreat stuff Matt. That's one of my favorite streams. Looks like you were on Hogcamp Branch the whole time. Hogcamp joins the Rose River about a mile downstream of the fire road bridge at the falls. Did you see anyone else fishing? Loads of hikers.
