Two guests together this week: We spoke with art world outsiders Eoley Mulally and Michael Mahaffey about taking chances, creating your own opportunities, and what Savannah needs to do to match other cities both for the creatives who live here and as a possible arts destination.
Although the artists couldn't be more different stylistically (Mulally focuses on punk circus-like performance art and recontectualized altars, while Mahaffey is known for creating stencils and paintings incorporating pop culture figures and snarky humor) in terms of how they view where Savannah stands as an art community they're remarkably unified.
Definitely a can't miss episode!
