Goldilocks " Funny 15 Minute Pantomime!" Hazlitt Theatre Maidstone 1984-85 HD

A 15 minute version of Goldilocks from the Hazlitt Theatre Maidstone during the 1984-85 season.

At the end of the panto season the chorus girls decided to put on their own version on the final night of the run. How well this can be portrayed across You Tube I have no idea! For anyone who knows the actors and actresses who performed in the original panto the nuances between the girls and the the original cast members are superb.

For anyone who was sitting in the audience watching this performance...well say no more...you know who you are and you know what a fantastic short show this was! I am posting this for you.

The shows original cast members included Chubby Oates, Mike Jerome, Sarah Jane Hassell, Lewis and Payne and more who were all subjected to sitting in the audience and watching their panto performed before their eyes through the observations of the dancers who had worked alongside them during the run.

For me...the little girl who plays Dame Tilly Tart (Chubby Oates) in this version is superb. When she strode across the stage in Chubby´s frocks and makeup carrying a bottle of beer in one hand and a pipe in the other the audience roared. She was a great little performer!

I was sitting next to Chubby when she acted out his part...if you knew him...you will hear him roaring with laughter in the audience...he laughed so much he fell off his chair!!! It was some night!!!
