I wish the devs made each mission for the aircraft more like a tutorial for the plane; like your content instead of just chucking you in and you having to figure it out. The tarantula reminds me of a bunch of aircraft mixed together. The MV-22, the CH-47, a bit of CH-53, the AC-130 and C-130, the aircraft from Halo lol; it flies like an old cadillac lol but in a good way. It's apparently called the tarantula because when you fire the flares it looks like tarantula legs, kinda like the AC-130 'angel wings' flare pattern. Can't wait for the medusa episode lol

A useful tip for those attempting to rearm naval vessels, especailly those currently on the move:

By holding your "Wing Tilt Assist Toggle" key (default: F) for 1 second, you instead engage auto-hover. If you are targeting a allied ship when you do so, the auto-hover will attempt to match velocity with the vessel. Rearming while on full cruise, however, is still ill-advised.

How are you selecting targets so fast? I use a hotas and have to press and hold the target lock key to get a new one to select. You're rapid firing those locks.

IRM-S1 is actually decent for tara, because you can shoot down incoming SARH/ARH missiles when it's impossible to evade them. They are a straight upgrade compared to 25mm cannons most of the time

The most hilarious MO for this aircraft is to hover 50m above the helipad and act as artillery.

I remember going to rearm our carrier and getting smacked in the face by a player compass taking off. I somehow recovered and leveled out after flattening the poor compass. About 5 seconds later the containers in my cargo hold thought it would be funny to blow up, presumably for comedic effect.
