ОтветитьVery nice haul. Lots of good tools there. Need to make a run up that way.. have had a craving for some Primanti's and Prantl.. 😊😊
ОтветитьI have Germany plyers
ОтветитьThe black 1299 i have from work
ОтветитьMy grandfather was a stone masons i still have his own tools and i use then
ОтветитьNice little fan. I have a couple two man saws myself.
ОтветитьThose sockets are really neat. Nice haul Matt, a lot of work ahead of you. If you ever move you'll need a whole box truck just for your tools, and a lot of help 😂.
ОтветитьLot of nice old tools 👍 i wish all good for year 2025
ОтветитьNicest grouping of estate sale tools I've seen. Lots of patina to banish. The Indestro sets are amazing. Not only are they complete, they still have their original holders. The awl with the green handle is an unusual design, in my opinion. I don't know about the decal for your particular tool box, but many designs for Craftsman can be purchased online. The cool Delco motor is also a nice find. Most of the vintage hand saws I find are Disstons, (famous PA company) which suggests to me the company had a very large share of the market back in the day. I am old enough to remember the company slogan "Diston Goes the Distance." Looking forward to your restoration videos, and picking up some useful resto tips.
ОтветитьNice find in that lot brother. Can not wait to see some cleaned up.
Ответить2 man saw! 👍👍!!!
ОтветитьI've seen that same white ruler. My dad/granddad had them. No clue about them now. Been too many years. The one thing I love about your channel is every once in a while, you will pull out a tool and it takes me back to when I young child with my dad or granddad building something.
ОтветитьGreat tool haul Matt! Wow! Those are going to make some great restoration videos
ОтветитьFantastic Haul Matt! The Shelton set is very cool! A lot of great projects in there, You should start with that super rare 3 nail ball peen hammer. 😅. Take it easy Brother and I'll catch up with ya later.
ОтветитьThose keys or sillcock keys also open industrial spigot and hydrants. I have quite a few different sizes that I keep in the old pickup tool box😂. A prepper would find a bug out bag as a more appropriate place to keep them.
ОтветитьI love those H.k Diston Porter loppers. I've never seen on of those before. I have quite a few H.K.Porter Foresters 0,2 and 3. My dad was a machinist at their Somerville Massachusetts plant in the 1960s. I have about 55 tools made there. I new porter acquired Diston, but never knew distance made loppers. Very cool❤.
ОтветитьWhat a great haul! Just 3 takeaways: 1] The Columbian woodworker's vise is a great "get".2) The Delco bench grinder has at least twice the power of what is made today. 3) The Durall utility knives piqued my curiosity. I located a Durall Tool Company in Yonkers that apparently just recently was listed as "permanently closed". At this point, I don't have any more info.
ОтветитьKieth Rucker knows someone who can help you with the nameplate on the tool box.
ОтветитьThat is definitely a massive tool haul Matt. There is so much good stuff there I don't know what to comment on! The Montgomery Wards tool box is neat - I also like the Indestro socket sets. what a great assortment of saws! That stuff will keep you busy for a while!
ОтветитьHigh five Matt! Next year will be full of more great videos from you! Great haul! We have a few of those tools and we have that fan! Happy holidays to you both.
Ответитьtool haul ?! oh, i have to go to a meeting now . . . . seething breath through nostrils, or call my sponsor, or sneak a glance at my hold out Grainger.
ОтветитьWow! You brought a lot of cool stuff home!
ОтветитьThat is a heck of a haul Matt. some cool and very unusual finds, they will make great projects.
ОтветитьHey Matt! That's a proper haul and 2025 restoration taken care of. Like the desk fan and 3 small socket sets, you're going to be kept busy.
ОтветитьDamn nice tool finds. 🧰
ОтветитьYou have a fantastic haul there. Some wonderful find and some great future projects. Thanks so much for sharing and hope you have a great weekend.
ОтветитьLegal cara 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

The old socket sets are so cool!
ОтветитьMy grandparents had a farm in Smethport, Pa. After my father passed in 2022 I went through all the old tools he had from that farm. Just finished up cleaning many crescent wrenches, pipe wrenches, wood handle screwdrivers, pliers, lanterns, bear trap, Disson saws, drill and awl just like yours etc etc. everything I worked on said made in USA. Nice knowing all those items came from my grandfather and some, I’m sure, came from my great grandfather.
I even have that socket tool😂
May I ask how much this box cost you with all the equipment in it?
