I was so disappointed when i realized they removed the old way

Its not new been working for a long time, but now videos are being posted on it again and it will likely be patched out

whats the new trick? just tried this and it didn't work

I usually just level up close to trader that will die in future, before hostilities take place I sell them bag and put all their loot in there. That usually enough to have decent budget without feeling like complete cheat. Not exactly fair, but hey, all the loot from traders disappearing in thin air after their death don't make much sense eather.

They patched the backpack trick 🥹 BG3 economy is high.

All you people making gameplay glitches instead of just doing it the good old fashioned dishonorable way you have some people talking to your Merchant and while the merchant is facing the party have the Rogue Rob him blind and then run like hell before he notices

I did this glitch in my most recent playthrough, and I used it to max lut my relationship with Ethel in the Grove. When I got to Act 3, a certain pirate captain my character had never met had a green outline. I'd forgotten about giving her gold to get a discount!

Theres a fun mechanic involving leveling up and trader stash. From what ive experienced, any trader that is in the world map youre on refreshes their stock and gold each time a character levels up. Most of the time its a good amount of gold and decent gear. There are weapons and/or items that always spawn with specific traders. By doing so i was able to steal gold each character level per character. It seems the more further you get into each act, the more gold and higher tier items spawn. I forgot to mention this works when you respec and relevel. Ive hoarded so much gold, and im not even halfway in act 2. Lol

IDK if this is a glitch since you can also do this in D&D. The difference is that in D&D there's consequences for selling a sword and then having it magically disappear.

you dont even need to BE a warlock. if you go bladelock, bind a weapon, and the re-spec, the weapon will still be bound.

With the Mod Manager being out, if you want x amount of money, why not just mod in that amount of money instead of doing these extra steps?

Larian shouldn't try and patch it so you can't sell a warlock pact weapon.

They should make it so if you sell it twice the merchant gets wise and becomes hostile.

Yeah this is less emersion breaking than just being able go steal from venders like in the release
