Decent shoe and it surprises people how well it works.
ОтветитьNice review. The shoe looks really nice too. I wish zero drop shoes were tested by runners used to them though. Many zero drop shoes get critiqued for straining the ankles or calves, but that's usually only because (as you said) runners aren't used to them and haven't appropriately transitioned. The first time I ran in zero drop shoes I couldn't walk for 2 days because my calves were on fire (I overdid that first run) but now I wear them all the time with zero problems. My ankles also have way more flexibility now.
ОтветитьMy Altra Paradigm 6 is hands down one of my favorite shoes that I have ever run in. Unfortunately the outsole just didn’t last at all. It wore down to the midsole somewhere around 50-60 miles. I can’t justify buying another pair of Altras until I hear they are making more durable outsoles. I’ll be watching out for a follow up video to see how it lasted.
Ответитьhuge Altra fan, love my Torin's and lone peaks, might try a pair of these in the near future 👍
ОтветитьThanks for the good review. I’m recovering from plantar fasciitis on my left foot, the Altra Provision 7 has been the only shoe that I can wear to walk around in comfort with the minimum pain. I’m looking forward to trying the new Provision 8 which I think feels a bit wider in the toe box than 7.
ОтветитьCurrently switching off between the FWD and Vanish Tempos. I’m thinking of adding the Via 2 as a recovery day shoe though the Topo Atmos looks tempting
ОтветитьYou can see in the video, you are not landing heel first. On higher drops are you hitting heel first?
ОтветитьTy planning to get these next month or so
