ОтветитьHello my friend. I usually use scrap wood. Using recycling is to protect nature and trees. You know that a tree is formed in a very long time. Your mini painting desk project is great. congratulations. thank you for sharing. See you. Great greetings.
ОтветитьGreat painting‼︎ Beautiful art‼︎ 🎨😊💕
ОтветитьHey paul have considered using spray contact for veneer. Much cheaper and 10x quicker
ОтветитьAwesome work Paul and Natalie, both the desk and mini figures look amazing! 😃👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻
ОтветитьSuch a simple look but the craftsmanship and skill that you put into it is awesome! Your partners painting job on the miniatures is bloody good too !
ОтветитьNice job. I bet you were happy with the chosen camera angle while applying the Livos finish. 😂👍
ОтветитьBetween the gaming, mini-painting, and woodworking, I feel like we need to be friends. Keep up the great work. I really liked the looks of this table.
ОтветитьGreat project Paul. Using up scrap, some interesting techniques and tips, top looking result and most importantly... happy wifey! I love gaming but (due to sucking at it) never got into the painting as much. There're several squads of Ultramarines sitting downstairs awaiting some love when she runs out of models ;)
ОтветитьThe proportions are perfect imo. Great little table
ОтветитьGreat job. 2 questions. Firstly, what is the purpose of the red netting in vacuum bag? Secondly, when you talk of work around alternatives that are questionable are you including the devices that you attach to an air compressor that turns it into a vacuum?
ОтветитьGreat table, and good use of the scrap wood. So now I know what to call my over size Domino joints :), I agree they are great for when there is not enough room for two Doms, I ditched my fastcap quite awhile ago and now just use sauce bottles. Different colour tops for the different glue, you just have to remember which is which. I don't think I will bother with the vac system, definitely to pricey for the times I would use it.
Ответить"she's also very kindly given me permission to build shelves for her mini pain pots"
😂😂hahahha😂😂 you lucky lad, you! 😏
Really slick table, mate 👍🏽
handsome
ОтветитьNice work. Always nice to “get permission” for her next project. Great job mate!
ОтветитьLove your wife's work .. Question: Why not use hide glue and veneer hammer (or J-roller) for veneering like they did before vacuums? I know this is not your typical thickness of veneer but it should work, right? You can put a lot of glue on and still cleanup is easy ...
ОтветитьThis looks great. Sturdy too. Enjoyed watching your process
ОтветитьI was just going to write. Next project, paint holder racks :D
ОтветитьGoods job Paul, where did you get the oil from?
ОтветитьWhere on earth are you getting that from????
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I don't see a block wood panel supplier in Brisbane. Although the door manufactures are obviously buying it from somewhere. In fact I still have an off-cut from a door panel I trimmed. Does it have another name?
It is indeed very stable and light weight. You seemed to have a a thinner panel than a door panel.

Hello my friend nice to meet you
Can you help in fusion 360
I am student and i have problem ti solve but i can not .. Please
That's such a cool project, veneering looks like so much fun! Maybe I'm just being a numpty but I was wondering if one of those vacuum bags they sell for packing away winter clothes might be an OK DIY solution - I suppose it might not give enough pressure for a decent clamping job?
ОтветитьAs a weekend woodworker and mini painter I can approve of this!
