I always call Steve Mays my Pastor. Never forget sitting under his teaching as he taught through the Bible. I've been living in Riverside for 22 years now, but I still feel that Calvary Chapel South Bay is home. I just love those relationships we built there.
After coming out of the world, this was my first church that I learned how to be a Christian, and to learn how to study and to apply the word to my life. Never heard of pastor Chuck Smith until after a few months of attending South Bay.

I lived in the House of Psalms for 2 years when Steve was the pastor there. He reminded me of my Army Drill Instructor in basic training. He was strict but very loving. I'll forever be grateful to God for Steve and Calvary Chapel.
