yes if you got a PS4PRO im sitll playing it today, until PS5PRO comes out than i will grab a PS VR2. try to get the 2nd version of PSVR1 so you can have HDR pass threw PS4 has the biggest AAA VR game libary

These things can be found pretty regularly used for like 50 bucks now, pair that with a modded ps4 which is WAY easier to get now since the new 11.0 exploit and then you have every psvr game you could want for free

I like the psvr1 better way better

I haven't researched thoroughly, but I did read about some people in forums who were able to adapt it for use on a PC with some third party software.
One age-related issue I believe I'm not the only one experiencing despite only occasional use is that the foam pads deteriorate over time and replacements are not readily available.

Sony stopped making VR2 due to too much inventory. VR2 being expensive, not backward compatible and limited library, make the VR1 a more attractive buy. At 1080p still very immersive today.

My honest opinion is that psvr1 is better

I'm pretty sure you don't need a PS4 to set this up. I got mine running on a PS5 without a PS4 around.

It shows that Sony put more of a push into the psvr1 than the psvr2 unfortunately . Sales have been quite mediocre to say the least . Not many psvr2 exclusives which is very disappointing. The psvr1 is still something I go back to just because of the games and the motion controller's

Well I’m my opinion I think the PSVR1 is still worth buying. Sure it doesn’t have the same features as the PSVR2 but there are a few games that you can play on the 1 than the 2. Mostly Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, that’s my favorite VR game and you cant play it on the PSVR2 and a Cousy of other VR games I don’t know. So in my opinion the PSVR1 is still worth buying in 2023 and 2024

Just got a psvr and love it. Gt Sport, RE 7 have had me hooked. I'm yet to justify buying a ps5 due the cost and limited game library and my ps4 pro looks great on a 4k tv. Add the psvr2 into that equation and thats £800. My pro and psvr cost me £120 combined used out a charity shop.

The pavr 1 is so freakin bad it’s so blurry I know how to put the right way my psvr1 I tried cleaning it for 15 times with wipes but no difference I tried adjusting aka measuring my distance. AND ITS STILL BLIURY I should have mentioned to my dad to buy me the meta-quest two or just wait for the next GEN PS VR two

Maybe it's just my psvr but the cord on mine is about 4 feet long and there is NO way I can stand up and play. Superhot VR tracking sucks especially bad too.

The PSVR 2 may be more advanced, but the PSVR 1 has the games that it’s sequel simply has not touched on yet.

Nope I would not buy PSVR now as I have one and 52 games for it the Tracking is really bad to the point I only either my PSVR2 to VR games with and my Quest 3 to play mixed reality games, watch TV shows and I also use it as an external monitor for my Macbook Pro I might even give my headset away as the PSVR2 blows it away

I bought them one moth ago in $90. I asked the seller if the price could be lower, but he didn't accepted 😅. It is a good option to start into the VR
Update: I saw online a new pair of PlayStation VR just for $60. Prices are going down fast.

Amazing vr unit , best used in a low light room...I rarely have tracking problems as I use mine in the attic man cave..

The only thing that let me down with this headset is the controllers and the external camera, other than that the headset is great!

I still use mine to this day for Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Dirt rally, Vr pinball......and a little bit of trivia, the Meta Questc3 uses pancake lenes, the same lenes that are in the 2016 psvr, and that is why the PSVR never suffeted from god rays or glare.....of course the osvr wins over the Quest because oled trumps lcd panels anytime of the day.

One of my favorite all time games was mostly because of PSVR. Resident evil made me feel true fear for the first time inside a video game. I love replaying it & I never get tired everytime I do.

I played some PSVR1 the other day, first time in like six months since getting PSVR2. I was surprised by how clear it was, I miss playing Minecraft, Skyrim, and Hitman in VR. It is so comfortable to wear too.

i bought mine for roughly 180, and the headset is actually really comfortable. the tracking on the other hand is actually down right terrible. and i get it, it's the first gen psvr. but anymore then 6 feet from the camera, and tracking for the wands can get super sketchy, par none the best game on psvr is blood and truth, but half the times the hands just refuse to do what they are told to do.

Just got one for $60 used with the (2 controllers/camera/headset/processing unit) just had to buy the PS5 adapter for $20 because the free vr adapter link from Sony no longer works

I bought mine about 16 months ago and the iron man pack, new £290. I use it quite a bit with a PS4 pro and I love it. Games are cheap in the store especially when there's a sale on. Just bought Mortal blitz and it's a great shooter, l love it. I've collected over 50 psvr games and 90 % of them are from the store sale, cheap as chips.
Still a good experience.

Agreed, its still fun even now, if you have a ps4 or ps5 and dont want to spend a lot on vr this is the way to go, vr2 is worth if you are ready to spend the money on a let’s say high end headset, this is still somewhat adequate though
