ОтветитьThis was a lovely look back. I enjoyed this relaxing video. I am like all planty people , I love to look at plants ❤ This was a great tour. I will enjoy seeing how you style the plants in your new home . I have provided a way for my Golden Pathos to climb up and over the kitchen cabinets . I was influenced by your beautiful trailing plants .🌿🌱🍃🤩😃🤩😁
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьloving your info, I bought the water meter, invaluable thanks 👍👍👍
ОтветитьWe same....i love u...many tips from u...all the bsst❤
ОтветитьHi How do you deal with brown spot?? 😢
ОтветитьI have a fitonia? Pink buhy plant. Ont dayvi came home and it was completely shrivelled. Not even recognizable as a plant. I thought it was dead but i put it in a bowl of water just to see if the rootssurvived. By the end of the day it had come back to life. After 2 days it .ooks normaland healthy.
ОтветитьI just bought that same ikea step stool but in white to make extra space for my new pink collection of plant babies in front of my french window 😊
ОтветитьI enjoy your videos 😊
What are the yellow things in some of your plants?
It's so nice watching you show your collection. The summer is truly over even in the Mediterraneum and me and my plants will have to hunker down for the winter. Took your advice and got several growlights from Temu (no import fees to EU) and expanded my collection to the outer limits from the wondows (which are full). I got a few lovely exotic pink baby plants and I'll be watching them grow and have them brighten up the winter since I also work from home 😊
ОтветитьI love your plant collection. If you cut your coleos back it will fill out and be much lusher. I don't have a string of hearts yet. I have the string of pearls, string of tears, string of bananas, and string of dolphins. I have more succulents and cacti then I do regular house plants. Do you have outdoor plants too?
ОтветитьWater "conditioner?" What the WHAT? I hope that isn't necessary if only using filtered rain water. 🙏🙏🪴🪴
ОтветитьI enjoy watching your channel----plant content. When giving a tour, I think you would benefit from relaxing and little... maybe pretend you're talking with your children about your plants. =) Your plants are looking loved and very well cared for.
ОтветитьI think its adorable that your kids want their own little plants - too cute!
ОтветитьMr Sheffield do u have lots of plants in ur gardens ?
ОтветитьWe’re is ur large grow light from olease Mr Sheffield? Thank u
ОтветитьMy spider plant ain’t well yellow leaves an falling out . Didn’t know she don’t like tap water ! Have to order some water conditioner. I do use bottled water on my calatheas an other tropical plants . Really love my spider plant I have 2 other one is thriving but I do give her less water . Don’t like to give up on them till they finally can’t take anymore .
ОтветитьHi! Any sansevieria jaboa or aubrytiana for sale? Thanks and Blessings! Rev. Jackie 😊
ОтветитьSee how to keep my ferns healthy..”which is all pureeee luck” BAHAHAHAH omg I’m dying laughing Mr Sheffield your killing me you got me cracking up I love it!!!
ОтветитьEnjoyed the tour
ОтветитьHiya! new subscriber here, can you give us any info on that wildly trailing plant on your wall? A pothos maybe?
ОтветитьYour shelves are very nice and I admire how each plant has some space of its own, not all smashed together. I love the various pathos. They grow like weeds here in Florida, yet are so agreeable they are fun to grow, and so beautiful. We have several large hanging pots of mixed varieties. A neighbor has one climbing up a tree and the pathos leaves are gigantic!
ОтветитьI have 44 unique plants (not counting the babies propagating) and I was told I had a problem. I responded with, “it isn’t a problem until I hit triple digits”. 😂 I’m pretty sure I have the coziest living room in my town though.
ОтветитьGreat collection. They all look so good. I’m interested is how your daughters experiment went. Hope it went well and she got good marks. 😊
ОтветитьI’m mostly amazed by how you can keep them all watered without overwatering. And that you can remember all their names😂 I have about 15 different plants (several of each) Mostly bonsai and small trees and I struggle to remember all their names😂
ОтветитьI have a pickle plant who doesn’t easily drop its leaves I’m not entirely sure this is why it doesn’t but it’s what i do. My pickle plant sits in a southwest facing window getting a good 4-5 hours of direct sunlight, I don’t water too often. Pickle plants are succulents from South Africa, succulents and cacti can go very long without water and slow down their metabolism to conserve energy and water. I water mine when the leaves are pretty soft and mooshy, it bounces right back.
ОтветитьMoss poles are great. I have two and I want to make more
ОтветитьVery much enjoying your videos and information as a new indoor gardener,
I wonder with your moss polls, if you might run some hydroponic rope maybe 2 lengths through the middle of the moss, with the rope tailing out f the bottom of the pole and offered into a water source?
I’ve had real success using this rope in my greenhouse, growing chili plants, the rope dose not brake down over the season and it works very efficiently
you probably noticed by now, but I think your alocasia azlanii is growing a flower not a leaf, you can see how its thicker at the bottom.
I have all my alocasias and most of my other plants in lechuza pon as semy-hidro setup.
I also have a green-orange plant that goes black, will try the water conditioner for it, thanks for the tip.
Hi Rich. Your tour of your kids are the best I did see your tour last year and noticed the all kids have grow it seems double. As your children grow so do your plant kids I give Mrs. Sheffield a great respect. All the love you give your kids sills over to your children and Mrs. Sheffield. Even lady that is 76 year and counting feels the love and the returns to you by grow my knowledge
On suggesting
On suggesting carry. Your moisture meter and water can AZ you go. Who am I crashing the teacherlol😂
P!ease stay just away you are. I will watch you and learn everyday Love you 💖 Billie as you know. Spring g has sprung. Your tour is making you happy and all us that warch. Talk soon no doubt 😇🤗😀😉
Tips for plants in semi hydro. Use slow release fertiliser bits. I use the ones by soil ninja, you just sprinkle a bit on top and water when needed. They last about 8 - 9 months and makes water plants in semi hydro hassle free!
ОтветитьGreat to hear you discovered some extra space at the kids rooms,
that will teach them not to buy to much LEGO boxes and electronics 😂
Thanks for the tour. Note on winter watering: I see a lot of plant 'advice' that warns against over-watering in winter. My experience is that's not necessarily the case. Obviously it depends on where you're located, the amount of light available in your place and the humidity of your rooms. (I'm jealous of your generous windows. My little flat is a cave.) I find most of my plants need as much or more water in winter, and it's not like I keep my heat on a lot. Bottom line: use a moisture meter or your finger (fingers are okay for smaller pots, but for my big guys the longer probe on the meter is vital.) You have to know which plants like to dry out between waterings and which want a more or less even moisture state all the time. I have to check mine weekly, and a couple of the really thirsty devils need my attention every three or four days. Well...idle hands are the devil's playground...
Ответитьplease do a top 5 things you learned in 2023 and/or things you no longer do and moved on from. its great to know what stood the test of time and what didnt for your needs.
ОтветитьA suggestion: Could you hold your smaller plants closer to the camera as they are harder to see.
Love your videos. Thank you.
My husband: what are you watching?
Me: this UK guy giving a tour of his house plant collection
Husband: 🤨
Me: don’t worry about it 😅
I have got around 15 plants and apparently, I thought it was a little crazy until I met you. In my culture, we have a saying that "Whoever does not visit other households thinks his mother is the best cook"
Thanks for the tour around and love your channel
BTW are you related to Johnny Sins ? Asking for a friend hehehe
We are looking for a house right now and I want to train my climbing plants on the wall. I thought about building a wooden frame (painted in the same colour as the wall so it blends in) that I put on the wall for them to climb on, so as not to damage the walls. Though I'm not sure the plants will stay on the wood and not grab onto the wall. Do you have experiences with your trellises in front of the wall?
ОтветитьLeaf trellis. I LOVE IT. Where can I get one??
ОтветитьI have question... what causes a new leaf to be deformed
ОтветитьThey look beautiful but 300 plants are way too many for me. I think you have an addiction. You must never leave town. Who’s going to water them for you.
Ответитьi have a shot glass with a tiny snake plant sprout, it's so cute
ОтветитьWOW impressive beautiful plant collection. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьYou look so good in red, handsome❤
ОтветитьWow, so much beautiful plants! 💚👍😃
ОтветитьThanks you make longer videos, see your all house plants, all plants healthy growing, enjoy watching thanks again…🪴🪴😍
Ответитьchlorophytum become huge depend on the pot u used
ОтветитьI love the leaves at the bottom of the ficus elastica
ОтветитьAnd the fact that you accomplished all of this while living in a place like Sheffield (not much sunny days) is all the more impressive 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
