ОтветитьMr Tatro, thank you for sharing so much knowledge.
I have a special request, if you could teach us anything about Harley Racing "Twingles?" Some kind of altered firing order on early sportster race bikes...
Let's face it, this guy is one of the most interesting mechanics, machinists, shop owners, builders who specializes in a very iconic motorcycle. I've spent hundreds of hours watching his videos learning from his vast experience & insight. But oh how I wish (perhaps others, as well) a video or two of him actually riding his favorite bike (or bikes) applying all that mechanical artistry to those controls. Imagine him on his WLA riding the beautiful stretches of old US Hwy 80 up & over the hump to Jacumba & back via Ca Hwy 94? Or a straight line run down El Mirage with his land speed racer? Talk about entertainment! Loctite ought to sponsor making those high-quality videos because their product would, no doubt, be needed to keep the GoPro cameras mounted on his bikes securely! Many thanks, Mr. Tatro.
ОтветитьSuper glue and fingernail polish
Ответитьvery informative...I like how you showed on the bike when, why and what type to use. Thanks!
Ответитьok...ive not seen a gasket board...your saying you use three bond on all large parts...case halves and primary's and such. the gasket board is what> clip board material? and you do this to all gaskets or just motors you have had trouble sealing? BTW. great videos! keep it going!!
ОтветитьIs shelf life a concern?
ОтветитьWhat is the best way to remove a part that has been installed with thread locker or retaining compound?
ОтветитьWhen are you going to be showing your three race motors again
Ответитьexpert advice is always welcome.
ОтветитьThanks. Great to see what and where. I just locktited " blue" on my walking cane set screws.
ОтветитьI’ve been watching your videos for quite some time. I had never rebuilt a 75 Sportster. So I watched some of your videos two or three times so that I could do it correctly. Same with the gear case. I want to thank you for that. Last time I did a HD was in my 20’s when I had a memory. At 74 I don’t remember a damn thing. My Sportster than was a 70, now it’s a 75. I needed your videos to refresh my dead brain. Keep on doing what you are doing. God please don’t go on Discovery, all they do there is screw up everything!!! Hope to see you do more drags? Maybe the salt flats? Whatever!
ОтветитьRemember use generous amounts like 9 drops on a 1/4" nut .
Ответитьi was disapointed with the last couple bottles i bought because the bottles were less than a quarter full.
ОтветитьApparently the tattoo chick is in no hurry to pick up her new bike.
ОтветитьSorry, maybe I missed it. What locktite you use for Evo crank pin nut? Thanks
ОтветитьA guy at work brought me some loctite a few years ago that just says "Tight" on it. It's never been used or will it ever be
ОтветитьYour shop's a damned mess. Shame.
ОтветитьLoctite is good stuff. The aircraft repair station retired from had it.
ОтветитьGreat information Tatro… thanks
ОтветитьGreat videos. Ive watched a bunch. I have a question about installing innertubes. Do you leave a nut inside the rim and one outside the rim or no nuts inside the rim????? You do old skool stuff, thought you might know. Thanks again for all the informative info.
ОтветитьThank you from Hungary!
ОтветитьSorry if my Pellet self locking element comment was offensive
ОтветитьTatro,
What do you think of the new sportsters coming out with the new revmax motors and do you think they will put the 1252 in a sportster? Too much power? Thanks
😇 Great video learnt something today thank you. 👍🇬🇧
ОтветитьDidn’t no there was so much rocket science in loctite . I thought you had red or blue red was a little better than blue . Well I learned something today thanks 👍
ОтветитьHow long is loctite good for? ...is there an expiry date on this stuff?
ОтветитьGreat informative video Tatro. Did you ever see the orange loctite?. I think it's made by permitex. It's supposed to be in between blue and red hold strength. Auto parts store had it here in Pennsylvania, ....it seems ok but I only bought a small bottle to use a couple times. Love the tribodyn products, best oil I've used to this day. Although I've yet to try redline. After using tribodyn I have no desire to try the redline
ОтветитьCheers for the education
ОтветитьDo you still have visits from lorenzo and fred
