T-90M vs T-80BVM

T-90m spalliner only works if you got shot from uper side angle, a little low and a large amount of spall it's created, and all fuel tanks generate a HUGE amount of spall them i think T-80BVM better in protection considering both cook ammo with minor spall hit

t90m is not better, trust me. from both using it and shooting at it its survivabilty is bad

Also helps that even without the spall liner the BVM does not generate spall in game

You're not going to convince me that Leo's and Abrams have Gen 1 thermals and gaijin is that confident the bvm has gen 3

The only thing t90m is better at is pure shell tanking but sometimes bvm is also good at that. Bvm is just superior in my opinion

The BVM still dominates i think. It is just overall more snappy and you tank a bit stronger APFSDS projectiles as the 90M. The 90M tho has better protection against missles.

I just learned about the laser detector. That explains how the T-90 had that 6th sense one time I pinged it.... Killed me before I could load next round 😮

Russian bias

The Reload Rate and ability to escape really doesn't allow the T-90M to outperform the T-80BVM. The mobility of the T-80BVM also makes it more durable at high speeds simply because it can be hard to hit its weak points accurately when it zooms around.

T90 while you want to be defensive and T80 when you want agressive playstyle... both are pretty solid tanks tho

my opinion is they both good and can be used in different maps

t-80bvm has lower profile and in combination with better kobility and reload speed i'd say the t-80bvm is better than t-90m

T90 have very slow reverse speed

T-90 is basically a T-72 with makeup

T90m for sure

War Thunder in 2030 will have newest T-90M with much better reverse speed

T-90M for me, as a Russian Main, I rarely reverse and just hold W anyways. I've learned that being aggressive in a Russian Tank is the way lol

T90M because T80BVM is a modified version of the T80 and the T90 was made based of the T80BVM especially with improved turret armour

I have both.I think t90m is for long range battles and t80bvm is for fast and furious rushes.I like t80bvm more

I feel like the t80 bvm is better because the t90ms weakspots are the same but more exposed, not to mention with less mobility. It's just an easy target for everyone using rounds over 600 mms of penetration where the t80 bvm and its great speed gets away with is great mobility

90M has gen 2 while BVM has gen 3. And even so BVM is still better cuz reload and mobility are far more important then having slightly better protection and a CITV. Also optics don't really matter that much unless they are like fixed zoom or have bad magnification. Cuz 122a is still the best tank in game while it only has gen 1

Personally t80bvm is way better than the t90m. I will always pick t80UK over t90m anyway but when I fet the bvm I will always play that instead

depends, T90 is more of a sniper while the T80 is more of a brawler but the difference is too light in my opinion to play em lota different

IRL I take the T90M over the BVM any day
T90M also gets muzzle refrence system basicly as the gun gets hotter and starts to bend down slowls the system automaticly corrects
no other soviet/russian tank has such system after the barrel bends down to much your shots will start going off

not to mention the bad base armor under the Relikt armor for the BVM they toke T-80Bs and just slaped relikt and thermals on that damn turret composite is from the 1980s M829A3 or any other sabot round with anti ERA tipp will go throw
