I think Maguns made a mistake of placing the rook in front od the pawn on the moov rook a1->d1

He had the rook positioned perfectly alonside the other connecting rook to take the queen once it promotes.

By placing the rook in front of the pawn he put the rook AND knight under pin plus massive pressure of loosing another piece.

If he’d left the rook at a1 he would have an extra move because Hikaru would need one additional move to promote either way.

Dunno, just my thoughts.
