KDP BSR - What is it? Does it Matter? Should I Care? | KDP Low Content Books

Hi Romney, thanks for your helpful videos. I just wondered if you happened to know answer to this-I go for low competition, high search keywords (using Helium 10) and barely get any organic rank..if I do its always in the hundreds…this mean my books don’t get found and don’t sell.. I have 100 (decent quality) and sold 6 in 2 months 😣

My BSR has been crazy for 2 of my books. I had one leap up to 20,000 and fall to 1 million in just over a week.

What did you use to see those BSR's? Is it in the KDP Dashboard or is it an other piece of software?

I am addicted to checking my BSR (8 out of 19 books that make sales) and yesterday i encountered something strange. Maybe you have an idea on it or experienced it yourself
sometime. I had a sales registered in the KDP repors this morning, but I couldn't see a change in BSR. As my books do not sell on a daily basis, therer are ups and downs and when I sell a book, BSR drops into the 40 K range (from 200K-600K) and then climbs up again slowly. but yesterday (and today) no change in BSR, but a registered sale.

Hi--Question on BSR for non-US marketplaces. Are there calculators (thinking of .fr and .es) for other marketplaces to figure out how much is approx selling per month? thanks.

Hi I installed the quickview extension you mention but don't see any of the BSRs
How did you make yours work?

One on mt books has a bsr with 6 sales per day. But not a sungle book sold.
Whats going on?
