I'm not convinced. Such a small tool for such a big price to repeat all the boring stuff you saw on YT a few times. Nah. The features are all boring. More interesting is how to program and develop such stuff.... not the final product. The pwnagotchi seems more interesting.

This information is not completely accurate. You cannot skim cards. You can detect, emulate, write.signals. universal TV, stereo, ac, remote, and some weird lights. Play games on it. Etc.

It's a $170 universal television remote that can sometimes open a Tesla's charging panel. That's it. That's all you'll be able to do with this thing beyond hear a little tone go off and capture a bunch of crap you can't do anything with.

I was able to lock and unlock the door with the flipper. Wasn't smart enough to figure out how to start the car. With my Wi-Fi Dev bored I can absolutely Rick roll you be off you, and I'm trying to figure out how to snag your pcap or handshake. I just got my sub gigahertz external antenna and I'm playing with that. And I bought the very last one on rabbit Labs which is a multi pass to allow me to swipe it like a credit card. Put the multi path from The fifth Element allows you to swipe the card.

I guess you figured it out ages ago, but just in case... the stock firmware has a region-specific frequency lock, but you can install alternative firmwares to remove that lock.

The myths surrounding the Flipper are actually more amusing to me than what the flipper is actually capable of. I have one, but I didn't get it as a "hacking" tool, but simply because it's a novel curiosity, it's interesting and I like playing around with electronics. I find it rather amusing that the Canadian government has their heads so far up their bums that they can't be BOTHERED to actually look into what the device is ACTUALLY capable of, instead it seems they're perfectly content to remain utterly ignorant and rely on fabricated TikTok videos showing the flipper doing things that are UTTER NONSENSE. Just like the idiots running the government blather most of the time... Nonsense. Why is it that those in charge can't seem to be bothered to get the actual FACTS of a thing before trying to REGULATE/LEGISLATE a thing? I don't just mean Canada's government. Getting mine soon and was curious how much you can do with out of the box standard firmware. I'm mostly interested in universal remotes and rfid stuff. Seen videos saying you HAVE to get custom firmware like xtreme but I typically don't like messing with things like that, unless I'd get bored with standard too soon?

You cant do shit with Those keys. It’s Rolling Code. It would works one time of it has Bad security and the Right frequency and than the car would create a new Code. If you than try to Open the car with the Same recorded Code it might work and causes a dissynchronisation between your key fob and your car. Than you can buy a new key fob. It’s a Big lie ‼️

It's a fun little device. The IR is much better than most of my remotes. The RFID capabilities alone make it worth the price, everything else is a bonus.

Can confirm that you'll lock yourself out of your car. Wasn't a hefty bill for me, they just had to re assign the key to the car (they must have a magic computer because I couldn't do this myself following the instructions in the manual), so no replacements. I thought I could be clever by recording the signal out of range and then playing it back closer. This worked, but I held the button too long and it played the code twice, making the car suspicious and locking me out. I could still use the physical key, so I could drive it in the meantime.
