Longplay 001: Rayman Advance [GBA]

Played this version because I never owned a copy for ps1 loved it n still do fav rayman hands down

My favorite version of the game, just because is the only one that is tolerable.

When I was a kid, I was playing one of the first levels in this and when I got to a checkpoint where the guy takes Rayman's picture, I said "Rayman looks gay" to my mom and she got pissed at me

I loved this game. I recently played legends and it just don't hit the same. The old games were so much better.

I hated this game, and I have returned now to torture myself

As a child i never could find the other 2 cages and should repeat the first world again and again... finally i know how it ends. But what happened to the dots? Always shipped Rayman and Bettila

Ahhh, the nostalgia is through the skies right now. Love Rayman! 😊 (more than Mario tbh!). One of the best games on Gameboy Advance. I am 28 now, but watching this takes me back 20 years to when I were 8 playing this game in 2002. 😊 Good times!

I am playing it now for the first time but have not the same feeling about it as rayman on the color which is one of the best platform games in ever. On regular gba the colors also appear dimmed so definitely not the best experience of this port.

Despite screen-crunch typical of the console back then, and not only because I have nostalgia, but when reflecting on other similar ports on GBA, this is easily one of the best the system has to offer. It is a true treat to the eyes and the sound is surprisingly well done, especially with the unique tracks!

Kinda weird because there is a lot of miskates

A great port visually, although the audio was lacking.

The screencrunch & the models being way too big for the screen is one of the dumbest choices ever made for a game like Rayman 1. Especially if your goal for this game is to find all the Electoons & void death at all costs.

Despite some limitations with this version, it's still a pretty good attempt at a portable Rayman experience.

Ahhhhhh, finally I'm amongst my people. I feel like that town where everybody was like Squidward. This is life and I will not get fed up with it. Much love you all!

This game is so difficult for me back then and it kinda makes me dizzy lol. Still havent finished it, my GBA cart is just laying around somewhere together with my metroid zero mission cart lol
