tricep kickback: long head, medial head
tricep pulldown pronated grip: lateral head, medial head
tricep pulldown supinated grip: long head, medial head
Guys if you really want to grow your triceps, do close grip bench-press in steep inclination. You will feel the long head of the triceps burn. This is the only exercise you can load up heavy. other exercises might be good to achieve muscle definition but I think close grip bench-press will blow up the long head of triceps like no other exercise.

ОтветитьHi sir i have a doubt... As you said to activate long head of triceps we need to hyper extend sholder and supinate forarms... My question is as its an biarticular muscle if its already engaged in one joint i.e. shoulder joint then it will not work efficiently on elbow joint as per active insufficiency theory... So what is right please explain... Thank you😊

ОтветитьI've had a dislocated left elbow for a while now...can't really straighten it(it's at a 150 degree when i do straighten it instead of a 180)
I've also been working out for a while and noticed that my upper left arm has like a 70 percent slower muscle development
Wanted to know if working out is even worth it anymore cos I my right arm looks okay but the left just has biceps which only show when I try flexing it...but the triceps?

You have forgotten at least one movement! Press something away. Most say a closegrip bench press or floorpress gives a higher activation of the Tricep, but which head is then the dominant one?
