Wow, the quality of this video is insane. Great riding and editing.
ОтветитьSince english is not my motherthongue I would need to use some sort of translatoric help to put together a decent coment for this. But even the Oxford dictionary could not come up with enough brilliance and awesomeness to compliment enough your narratation of these vids!
Thumbs up from another klx-er and keep on braaping!
“Sweet mother of machinery!!!”
Ответитьreally talented film making , i got teary-eyed over a kaw 250 not even a sad puppy involved did you slip me a bill clinton date rape drug or something? i'm getting a DNA swab just in case xD
ОтветитьDeadly bike. You don’t need a $10,000 bike to have a blast that’s for sure 👌
Ответитьsuch a treat when you upload
ОтветитьBeen following you nearly from the start of your chanchan and I am impressed how your riding style / skills improved over the time, you are now flying man, keep it up.
ОтветитьDang did you shell out a mint to license all that music or is there some kind of new deal for content creators? I thought for a sec I had my Spotify playing in another window ;-)
ОтветитьIt is physically impossible for an EFI system to deliver faster throttle response or a more precise throttle reaponse than a properly tuned FCR carburetor. If you disagree with me, you've never experienced a correctly set up FCR carb. You should stick to EFI, like the soccer mom you really are.
ОтветитьThese old thumpers have so much potential. I bought a 1985 Honda XR600R last November for $1100. Its street legal. I put plastics and gas tank on it from a 2005 yz250f. I put forks on from a 2001 yz250. I gave it a KTM PDS no-link rear suspension setup. I converted it from dual carb to a FCR39MX. The bike already had a 628cc big bore kit on it. I already had the forks in my posession from years ago. Carb was $90 off ebay. Plastics were $150 including tank off ebay. Shock was $60 off ebay. So in total I have $1400 invested into a bike that is street legal, weighs 270Lbs on my scale (wet no gas), makes 41rwhp, looks like a modern moto bike, handles like a modern 450, starts first kick, can handle interstate, and can still be ridden on real singletrack. Pretty hard to beat these old thumpers, dollar per dollar. It saves me gas and makes me feel like a kid again!
ОтветитьMan your flying! Congrats, strange how things work out
ОтветитьI took some great advice from this channel. I was looking to get back into trail riding and using the bike for general commuting. I did the normal thing, looked at the budget for a new CRF 250l and wondering how I would slide the payments into the monthly outgoings. Then watching this channel I hear the sage advice "Dont go into debt! just dont do it! It will make you miserable." well a little digging and patience and I scrounged up a neglected and tired looking 400cc dual sport from a local farmer with less than 2000 Kilometres on it, farm use only, mine for €500, another few €100 thrown at it to get what should work working, and an Acerbis plastics kit and hours of cleaning and its a brand new bike for less than a grand and owes me nothing, in fact this was the first winter where I have not come close to cabin fever as I was busy with the bike. Its parked right outside my window now, I can see it from here. I'm not going anywhere right now, but I could throw a bag on the back and be on the ferry to Morroco in 48 hours. I wont of course I have stuff to do, and the Bride would have a spectacular and completely justifiable sense of humour failure..... but I know the bike could do it and thats a comfort :-)
ОтветитьWhats your opinion on the old klx 300's everide?
ОтветитьNow after having had the opportunity to ride katsumi for a few minutes I can attest to the fact that she is a very special bike. Unique, simple, smooth and powerful... Truly one of a kind and now back in your stable where she should be. Thanks for letting me take a spin on her and I'm happy she's yours now.
ОтветитьEpic video bro!! Love that you added Bullet Train at the end! I'm so happy Katsumi remains in the family! This video made me really miss riding with you, however I'm not sure I could keep up with you anymore! Nice riding brother!!!
ОтветитьI love the head light!
ОтветитьBattle of the 350’s 😏😉
ОтветитьAwesome video
ОтветитьI'm amazed !! My new adventure partner is a KLX 300 from 2000, and my Kelly( KLE 500) is thrilled !!! Congratulations !! You both deserve to be happy out there !! Loved the news !! Tyler, you rock !!! Cheers
ОтветитьWe miss you everide ! Guess you, hermit and CDS quit posting new vids :(

ОтветитьCongrats on the new machine! Also great mike snow sound track.
ОтветитьMan, so entertaining. Your videos KILL IT!
ОтветитьI ride a Dr 350 and love that thing. These bikes really do have a soul.
ОтветитьGreat video.
On a side note, have you done a video on how to make that camera backpack? I know you have done them on your helmet setup before.
I have been trying to figure out how to make a backpack mount like that for a while and haven't quite figured it out!
i love that klx dude
ОтветитьWhat kind of headlight is that and where could I find one
ОтветитьAwesome video Tyler. Lovin the new "old" bike. Maybe it'll give me some inspiration of what to do with my Kawasaki KLE500. Going to watch the build series now! Thanks for bringing this amazing video.
ОтветитьThanks for posting the link to Mr Duhfactor's build series on Katsumi. Watched all the episodes, which have been a true inspiration for my own build project - a 1991 Kawasaki KLE 500. On another note, just watched Shadetree Surgeon's video on Honda's CRF450L, and wondered what your thoughts were? Potential upcoming video topic?
ОтветитьSo cool Tyler! Incredible production and editing, and your generosity in your gratitude creates a real sense of brotherhood. That’s why I keep coming back to this chan-chan. And Mr. Duh Factor’s build videos of Katsumi are what have had me drop 1000’s of $ into Donatello, my 2006 KLX 250s. I love my bike and what is still possible with it. Thanks for your work and being a vortex of awesomeness Tyler and Co.
Ответитьit's such a beautifull bike!!1
ОтветитьSubbed! I love your channel:)
ОтветитьHow they install the headlight.? No battery?
ОтветитьHey Everide! I have a KLX250, Where can I find the front light that is mounted in this motorcycle?
Thank you, I appreciate your videos!
Frenemy pricked my ears up then made me laugh, everything else was like I could have done on my best day, putting my dreams and ideals on video. excellent content keep it up
ОтветитьWatched Mr. Duh's full build series on this bike....was sooooo bummed when he got rid of it....sooooo stoked it's in your loving hands!
ОтветитьYou look so at ease riding that bike. Editing magic helps but you can’t hide pure joy.
ОтветитьAwesome video. Thanks :)
Ответитьhe pooped in ur boot brah??
ОтветитьNow I want a klx 😂 my wife's gunna kill me 🤣
ОтветитьMy favorite episode!!!
ОтветитьTyler I’m a big fan great job just wondering where I can buy that headlight like the one on katsumi
ОтветитьI got offered a super clean street legal, 97 klx300 for my 96 xr600r. This video makes me want to trade her but not sure about it. Lighter weight and a 6th gear is convincing me
Ответитьhey! I have klx250 from 94 as well, and I'm into fixing it up for more serious enduro riding. can you please post the parts you used for rebuilding? I am especially interested in swingarm suspension since I cannot figure out which is suitable for KLX.. and can I maybe rebuild my own with better spring? thanks
ОтветитьLove this! I have just started to rebuild my son’s 1994 KLX 250 as a surprise gift. I can only hope it turns out okay. Katsumi seems to be one bad bike! Enjoy!
ОтветитьThat was awesome...
