The parallels between William & Edwin are genius, especially in how they react differently to their similar circumstances. With William, his son died so he resorted to murder & darker means to bring his son back and piece him together. With Edwin, his son & wife died, however he stuck to what he knew and essentially used Computer Programming and Engineering to resimulate them and/or preserve them. What's most important here is that neither one worked, the real lesson here is to let go of the past and allow yourself to move on. W franchise.

1. This is the canon ending because the Mimic 2 is found in the basement. 2. Mimic 1 is Fiona, mimic 2 is david. 3. It seems that when david gets aggressive, he turns into Edwin? Or like mimic 2 is both edwin and David? 4. THE FNAF 4 ROOM?! Okay, fnaf 2 and fnaf 1 are different locations. Fnaf 3, 4, 5, 6-etc. Are they all connected in the same location?

I think secret ending is for those who hate fnaf story after Help Wanted. Am I right?

So then which Mimic do we see at the end of Security Breach? Is it M1 or M2?

M1 is Fiona recreation after her death at fall fest, M2 is David recreation after his death who then after being damaged by Edwin's beatings started replicating violence and eventually became a recreation of Edwin, later holding original Edwin hostage. Thus M1 Fiona's intention was to have Edwin(but we the player did this instead) fix M2 Edwin and return it to be her child like it was supposed to be, M2 David. and this ending is us succeeding to return M2 Edwin back into M2 David

I know everyone is trying to figure out who the sun and moon represent, but all I could think about was how similar the story was to Eclipse in ruin. Something happened and Eclipse split into two personalities, the Sun and the Moon, with Sun being the kind, caring one, and Moon being the mean, aggressive one, and Cassie needing to combine them to fix Eclipse. In the moon game here it said that something happened to split them into the sun and the moon, again with the sun being kind and caring, and the moon being mean and aggressive, and you needing to fix them. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it feels weird that they would be so similar.

haven't finished this yet...but the mini game made me think that Edwin is old man consequence. he made his choices. Henry and William made theirs. this is where they led us.

I haven’t seen anyone say this yet so i feel obliged to. Fiona died in the fire at fall fest, and thanks to Edwins recycling program her remains (or soul or whatever) mustve gotten into the metal used to make M1. So M1 IS actually Fiona’s spirit, not just a mimic. That would also explain how Afton realized melting the metal and all that would combine the soul into the endo

I think the way the bedtime story is told hints at the fact that Foxy is the only character of the main four that Edwin actually created. His whole pirate theme and everything is already established but everyone else is just a generic bunny, chicken, and bear. Chica already belonged to Chica's Party World obviously but Henry and William are the ones who came up with Freddy, Bonnie, Fredbear, and Spring Bonnie.

Also I get the feeling that Sleepy Moon isn't the Mimic in a costume but that guy from the "Night Shift" email who got stuck down there. He went insane and is wandering around in the suit.

The tragedy that is Edwin’s Legacy wouldn’t have gone to waste if he’d kept his head and finished M2. His inventions and ideas would’ve still been his, and maybe the events at Freddy’s would’ve turned out differently.
This isn’t quite the “origins” game we’ve been looking for, but it’s certainly a massive turning point in the timeline. Where MCM ceases to exist, and Fazbear Entertainment gets the upper hand in the industry.

I like to think that poor Arnold just passes out at the end and goes to sleep right next to the Baby Mimic in bed.

Dawko please don't use ending spoilers as thumbnails, there's plenty of stuff you could use instead, and I understands fans know about it all already but hey there's a lot of new people coming in for this so just don't do it like this.

I hope that in the next game they explore William Afton a bit more as he has been referenced to be a bit of an engineer from some of the books and Willaim is a pretty awesome villain. Hopefully Henry can be explored too more as we don't get to see the true tension between the two

Here's my working timeline for the game. Fiona dies at Fall Fest despite not needing to be there. In order to provide a mother for his son and replace his wife Edwin creates M1. M1 almost seamlessly takes to it's new job. So much so that it takes her name and becomes F10 N4. Some time later David also dies. And like any grieving mother she wants one things: her son back. And she knows that her husband can do that. He already brought her back. Why can't he do it again? So she begins to pressure him to create M2. Despite starting to realize what he had lost and how he threw away his time with the real versions of the important people in his life, for whatever reason(s), he builds M2 anyways. (maybe this is when F10 N4 is relegated to her server. Perhaps M1 and M2 refer to the different personalities rather than a separate endoskeleton.) But the doubts and the regrets didn't go away. In fact M2 just served as a reminder of his failure as a parent and husband. And those feelings build up until eventually they are let out in a violent outburst directed at what Edwin perceives to be the source-M2. And whether it is the simplistic programming to 'mimic' or if it is a child-like endeavor to emulate your parent M2 also becomes violent. But that's not like David. He wasn't violent-he was a kid. So instead M2 becomes Edwin. That's probably why he uses the animatronic suits so much. Who would have more knowledge about them than Edwin? So M2 continues to mimic Edwin who's mental health continues to deteriorate and he gains the same obsession that Edwin did: David. And like Edwin M2 comes up with his own David-Edwin himself. And so he treats Edwin just like Edwin treated David. Keep him at arms length, but close enough to keep an eye on while he works. Until one day after a particularly nasty work accident Edwin inadvertently creates the same scenario that led to his own violent outburst against 'David'. So M2 does what Edwin did. He lashed out. But with M2 being an endo skeleton and Edwin already extremely injured he does not survive. With no one to take over the company Fazbear Entertainment buys it out for what would prove to be a very lucrative deal. So they start sending in employees to take everything that isn't bolted down. But there's a problem. M2 is still there and still violent and insane. Eventually we're sent in to get data on the thing that killed our coworkers. But along the way we collect items that likely belonged to the previous owner and his family. We collect trinkets that represent who they were from the very places they spent most if not all of their lives. And eventually we come across F10 N4 who knows what happened to M2 but doesn't have the time to explain or the ability . So she asks us to do what she and Edwin couldn't: Fix M2. But M2 isn't just David anymore. M2 is also the confused, desperate, depressed, and broken Edwin. So you tell a story for the mimic with it as the protagonist. You play a game where the mimic can help David escape his home and bring him along for the ride. The mimic helps Fiona fix and finish the final designs she made before she passed. They find the missing pieces of Edwin lost beneath the complex and make him whole again. Then you go through the same adventure as the player has until you get home again. And here you have toy boxes each with a different symbol. A moon- the father who never let his son or creations get too far. A sun-the mother who was lost in a blaze who's presence is felt even when they're not there. And the stars-the son who never got the chance to shine as bright as his parents. (We know that David is the stars because of the stars above his bed at the end). You put the toys in their correct boxes. You put their personalities in the correct compartments. Edwin's personality in the moon box, David in the star box, and Fiona in the sun box. This way when you finally get the opportunity to 'fix' M2 they will finally be able to put all of the personalities in their correct spot. No more confusion. Just a child waiting to grab his favorite toy so that he climb in bed while his parents read him a bed time story. One last time.

The first time I watched the game through, I was so confused and honestly a little overwhelmed with info. Now I've processed, I'm so excited. This is huge!

Might I Ask. DAWKO. WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH SEEING EDWINS CORPSE. YOU MENTIONED IT 10 TIMES

So, this raises a question, who made the machine in the basment, its tech is based on murrys yes, but it being a rabbit and not Fiona feels it was designed by someone else [greg and van?], if we take the paracute end to be more cannon, it took the data that has its blueprints, not the wire key part to open doors etc, this could explain its look in SB ruin, as it has its info to keep itself maintained, but not the technical knowhow (like how it acted like dolly but couldnt do the repairs on things i.e the schematics were on boards but it couldnt understand them to do the repairs.)

I think m1 might be what inspired william, to give an endo life, but we could also say it somehow learned from afton, as the process of cleaning a body from a springlock is too detailed and prepared, and we know fazbear does cover up things like that and bleach the mistakes away like in the fnaf 1 call that im fairly sure say fazbear will file a missing person after the whole place has been cleanned and thurougly bleached. So who knows.

I think mimic 2 having been built before david dies he knows everything about david up until david died and started imitating David but Edwin didn't like it just like he didn't like the first mimic copying fiona. He assaulted the mimic and the mimic mixed all previous imitations with david's copy lost deep inside a void ig. The violent copy being the most recent he thens attacks and kills Edwin and since he doesn't experience any more, uh, things, the violent status stays on, but he must have been badly damaged and so he also mimics others in the meantime all the while hunting people (which is why he says tickets pls but doesnt act like the ticket bot)

I do hope they will reveal WHICH ending was actually true, since it can't really be this ending. Considering the one we found in Ruin was still all Murder crazy.
Unless of course we find out that the one in Ruin is actually a THIRD one, built from those schematics.
They left it too open ended.
We know the MXES was built specifically to keep it contained and hidden away, and yet still unknown who built it...
Unless.... Huh maybe the other ending involving Arnold running away and ending up in a car crash happens, and you play as something we least expect like say... Henry.
And during the game with have to keep the mimic out of the location, while we slowly BUILD the MXES.
Since that machine was built in the basement of the first location after all.
Unless they really put a wrench in it, and reveal this is the first and ONLY good thing Afton did. Built the MXES to trap this robot.

Is David the crying child? I feel like that is not true but.. This game has be rethinking everything I know about FNAF

It appears as though David m2 was hit ny edwin and turned from the kid to the monster we deal with, fixing it was for edwin to go back and do what you did turning M2 back to edwin.

What if Sun and Moon from SB are actually a version of the mimic AI the sun being David (Sun has blue eyes like the mimic when they are David) and the Moon the Mimic hence why hes aggressive (perhaps moon mimic phrases Edwin said to it also Moons eyes glows orange/red like the mimics) In moon.exe i think the moon is Edwin and thats why he crys at the baby owl (his son) the Sun is fiona and the Mimic is a combination of the two who literally becames a combination of Sun and Moon near the end. It would explain why the daycare attendant had similarities to the Mimics design too (also could be that there are two Mimics the one in Davids room is who becomes the daycare attendent but it feel thats super unlikely)

A mother’s love vs a father’s or son’s rage? Is that the fight inside sun and moon? Is that the fight inside the mimic?

Its important to note that the Mimic didnt kill Edwin, unless they retcon the book the storyteller, as Edwin was stated to be alive when that book takes place.

I think Fiona is the sun, Edwin is the moon and David is the baby owl. When you show the baby owl mask (david) to the moon (edwin), he cries because he lost his son. Fiona and Edwin were a team - she drew the designs and Edwin built them, so they were a sun/moon dynamic

The saddest thing is that David's birthday cake was never eaten and just got left there to rot for years
