Honestly, this list isn't great if they're doing it as in who is the best of composer. If they're just saying these are the top 10 who influenced music, then I agree. Otherwise mozart is probably no.1
ОтветитьGuarda gli italiani
Verdi
Donizetti
Rossini
Puccini
Vivaldi
Mascagni
My order of the first three would be 1. Mozart, 2. Beethoven, 3.Tchaikovsky.
Ответитьmy favorite is Verdi. I love all his operas.
ОтветитьMy list would be:
1. Beethoven
2. Bach
3. Mozart
4. Chopin
5. Tchaikovsky
6. Rachmaninoff
7. Shostakovich
8. Vivaldi
9. Mahler
10 Liszt
When you have a little deeper understanding of classical music, Bach is #1. I love all those composers, except Schubert (my interest got killed in school). I think Edvard Grieg should have been in his spot. Also Offenbach and J. Strauss are hot contenders.
ОтветитьTo me it has to be Mozart because of his light melodies, combined with deepth, drama, and crazy undexpected passeges... all with grace a d finns finezze.
ОтветитьClassical music is a great genre to react to. Much of it is public domain and less likely to get blocked. And it’s just great music. Feeds the soul.
ОтветитьHmm.
Yes, I'd largely agree with that list, but I'd replace Antonio Vivaldi and Peter Tchaikovsky with Franz Liszt and Giacomo Puccini.
Then alter the order a bit - though the top three would remain J S Bach, Beethoven and Mozart, but maybe not in that order.
Whoever compiled that list is ignorant. No Haydn but Vivaldi? And Beethoven, Mozart and Bach kind of a three way tie though LVB certainly the most influential of the three. And what's with the exclusion of 20th century composers? These so-called modern composers' music is now decades old. Certainly Debussy is up there with the short list of greats.
ОтветитьHaydn should definitely have been in here
ОтветитьFor me:
1) J.S.Bach
2) (exaequo) Mahler & Stravinsky
3) the others...
Always Bach is the greatest! He's the father of all Harmonie and music!
Ответитьbeethoven is the best
