I used to load some #4/#1 buck combo shells for 12ga. They were a lot of fun & very effective. A while back I got a 36cal, 000 mould & that's pretty much all I've been doing since 😂 Those big fat pellets drop at around 72gr each, they are a FUN buckshot 💥 Great video, thnx for sharing it.
ОтветитьPast summer those shell's we're always available ...
Now zip.
I load my Mossburg with #3 buck. Like the pattern and pellet count, plus it still gets the job done for home defense. Staying within 12 inches of pattern will ruin the bad guy's day buddy.
ОтветитьI bought one of those opsol adapters about 2 years ago and have yet to try it
ОтветитьThis is the Video I have been looking for about the mini shells!!! Now I need to find some without getting raped
ОтветитьI'd really like to fire those in a shockwave to see how they are. I like the idea of the shockwave, and I love the look of the 590 Nightstick with the wood furniture! Loaded with mini-shells as a home defense gun I could totally see it, but I just don't know if it's worth the money. Especially when I have a Glock 19 on me at all times.
ОтветитьAnd if all else fails, toss pizza boxes at the bad guy.
Hahaha 😀😂 hahaha Great video!
Massad Ayoob said that #1 buckshot was the most devasting round that a civilian could own. Oh and for the guys that insist that 00 buck is the bare minimum for self defense I'll ask you how many rounds of #4 buck could you take to the face?
ОтветитьSpread on this is an inch per yard. If you ain't believing me...watch his video!
ОтветитьGot the new mossberg 590s……..just wish other ammo companies would get on board making mini shells!
ОтветитьDedication, killed 3 pizza's just to make this video.
ОтветитьAnother good one Dan!
ОтветитьJust wish we could have seen a 5 yard pattern,,,cuz let's face it in your home 5-7 yards is about max for bad guy encounter....nice video though,,,keep them coming....👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьNice simple video👍have you had any issues with feeding or extraction? Thinking of this option for maverick 88. This seems like a good option with my shoulder issue.
ОтветитьI have the Maverick 88 and the Opsol plug and the Agilla 1.3/4 shells , Good to know that's a good combination , And yes it holds 11 shells.
ОтветитьLook out Bunnies🤪or intrudee
ОтветитьWhen I was a much younger man, about 35 years ago there was this girl at work that the guys called "pizza box" for some reason. Anyway when you kept saying pizza box I had a flash back and it just cracked me up. Thanks for another informative video, keep 'em coming. :)
ОтветитьThanks 4 taking the time to share this info with us, much appreciated Danno!!
ОтветитьOpened up a lot! Definitely still get it done though!
ОтветитьI’ve never liked buck shot for the various spreads you get in various guns. Slugs will always get my vote if forced to use a shotgun.
ОтветитьThinking of loading these up in my pistol grip mossberg for home defense. Thnx for the info
ОтветитьThanks, Dan. 👍
Would be very effective at in-home distances (8 yards is pretty far stretch for an in home distance). As you mentioned, users should make sure these function in their guns. Get an adapter if needed.
I can’t believe the amount of people that say these aren’t good enough for home defense. It would for sure be sufficient especially the slugs. I have a different HD plan but they would definitely work.
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸☕️☕️
ОтветитьGood stuff!!
ОтветитьHow good was the pizza?
ОтветитьYou got good penetration on that pizza box.
ОтветитьGonna need this for my maverick 88. I have an old 870 wingmaster that I couldn't get the mini to work im
ОтветитьI use these shells in my mossberg shockwave i love them great video
ОтветитьI have a black aces 12 gauge do they make a mini clip for it maybe something universal that would fit any shotgun
ОтветитьMerry Christmas 🎅 🎄, Dan. Another blessed year of your work. Thank you. 👍 😎
ОтветитьAn interesting demo for sure. The Mini Shot shells certainly increase your carrying capacity for the pump-action shotgun. It also seems like there may be a potential there for a non-lethal though debilitating version that may work in some defense situations. Something beyond rock salt…probably already exists and it’s just me being uninformed.
ОтветитьFederal Shorty 4B seems to be a better option. I sure want Federal to offer Shorty 1B
Ответить👍I have a few boxes of those mini shells, use them in my shockwave. Much lighter on the hand n wrist. Great for home defense n behind front seat in my car. My opine.✌🇺🇸🇺🇸
ОтветитьAnother positive aspect of using the Minishells from Aguila or Federal would have to be the additional capacity in the shotgun. I don't know how many 2-3/4 shells you can get in your Mossberg 590 (5+1 maybe?), but I've got to believe that you could get two, maybe three additional Minishells in the tube. If you could go from six to nine rounds, that's an important plus for using the minis.
ОтветитьI want to start a discussion. What is better for HD, buckshot or slugs and why?
ОтветитьGreat video :)
ОтветитьLove the OPSOL 2, Friends stay away from 1st series & the Knock offs
ОтветитьDan...love your channel, you do great videos! Keep up the great work and have Merry Christmas!
ОтветитьY'all eat Alot of Pizza
ОтветитьThe Federal #4 Buck are much better!
Ответитьwhat is the fps on these rounds?
ОтветитьDefinitely useless for deer huntin
Ответитьi trust your channel one trillion percent 🤟
ОтветитьBuck and ball? No thanks. I want that buck and buck.
ОтветитьThe federal shorty buckshot is way better
ОтветитьYou should do a vid with the pizza still in the boxes !! 😂💦
ОтветитьI need these
ОтветитьWhat about about a 12 Gauge Minishell Cut Buckshot spread? I wonder what that would do?
ОтветитьGreat video!
