What was the most surprising thing you learned about Lewis Hamilton?
ОтветитьHOLY SHTI! Welcome back!!!!
ОтветитьGlad to see you back Kyle (congratulations btw), looking forward to new videos.
Just for fun, have you considered covering camping travel trailers?
We've put on over 10,000 KM on our trailer in the last 6 months and noticed a difference after streamlining the underside.
I'm considering making tail fairings, plus V-nose that tapers from the front top & sides to the propane tanks.
Good to have you back. First of all you need a new microphone before doing new videos. I would love to see a series of videos about aerodynamic (= drag reduction) parts for ordinary cars.
ОтветитьIs pursuing a career in f1 less motivating over time, as an engineer. Does the workload become too intense and make you ponder why put so much effort on a car?
ОтветитьCan't believe this. Finished my undergrad degree just when you stopped uploading, worked for a bit and now I'm starting a masters in race car aerodynamics. Could there be a better timing.
ОтветитьHey Kyle, great to see you back and can’t wait for your new videos. Could you briefly explain why so many sports cars like Valkyrie choose to leave the rear tires partially exposed when viewing from the back, instead of having some elements to condition the flow?
ОтветитьHow about a video about minimum drag for maximum range on an electric car? Maybe go over wheel covers like old Citroens and Honda Insights
Ответитьhey quite an experience in a F1 team... as you want some questions, here is two that will help me with my project, - how can I work the weigth balance (100% track car)? I'm planning my rollcage, ballast, and it is FWD, and second, my car is a hatchback, how to work with the aerodinamics in the rear? because obviusly it is different than a sedan. can you review de WTCR cars? thanks
ОтветитьWelcome back!!!
Ответитьawesome job at merc! woop woop
ОтветитьWelcome back, congrats!
ОтветитьTHE LEGEND HAS RETURN
ОтветитьDo you think there's a video in the abandoned central downwash wing? This was one of the proposed solutions to reduce dirty air, though I have a suspicion it might have just made the wake wider.
Do the little winglets on the back of the SSC Tuatara do anything? The only purpose I've been able to think of is some kind of pseudo wake fill via vortex generation, but I'm leaning towards them being cosmetic.
The 1 dislike has to be engineering explained 😂
ОтветитьI'm interested, but not at $1k as this isn't part of my professional field. I'm more just interested in aero as a side hobby.
ОтветитьHoly moly!!!
Who is back!!!
Man great to see you!!!
Hope you did well on your f1 job!!! Wish all of the best!
I am so so happy you're back
ОтветитьI want to know who's that one person who disliked this video
ОтветитьBruh, did someone suck out your life or something?
ОтветитьSo good to have you back!!!
ОтветитьYep, would 100% pay for a course in CFD
ОтветитьSome of the best aero vids, glad your back 👍👍
ОтветитьKyle is back!😎
ОтветитьI'd like to know about the huge variety of different designs for front wheel wind deflectors in road cars.
ОтветитьYes to courses with a college student budget in mind lol. And please start from the basics for beginners.
ОтветитьI would be very interested in the aerodynamic course! Will keep an eye out for details. ;)
ОтветитьWelcome back!
Ответить+1 for paid courses!
ОтветитьI’ve got a sports prototype racecar that isn’t allowed wings or diffusers within the regulations... what are the biggest aero tips or areas to focus on to generate downforce without the cost of drag on the front and rear?
ОтветитьWhat a comeback ! I checked your videos when I was in school now I graduated as an automotive engineer and you come back ! Thanks for your work your videos and congratulation for the titles !
ОтветитьYeah you are back!!!
I have been waiting for ever!!
Time to re send that email again 🤭😁
Welcome back!
ОтветитьHey welcome back! And congrats on getting married! So can you design the ultimate aero package for our POS lemons race car? It’s for charity! Just saying... unless you hate children...
ОтветитьI love your content.
ОтветитьKyle, you're very knowledgeable and I love the content on your channel, but please work on your audio. I think you've gotten a bit better at it over time, but on some of your videos, the sound alternates from being almost impossible to hear, to almost blowing out my speakers. Looking forward to more of your very enlightening videos.
ОтветитьThe aero course would be really interesting!
ОтветитьGlad to have you back amigo!
ОтветитьHello Kyle, I love the knowledge you bring to the video and how you explain things, I guess that just comes with being so knowledgeable. I was wondering if you can touch on telemetry for Aero, ARB’s Dampers, Suspension and such? Like how to read them, which ones for what, how engineers use them to guide their decisions for adjustments. In your 30 second video on ARB’s I noticed, a chart with Yaw, Roll, and Pitch velocity and I’m very curious on how that all works together to guide the engineer.
ОтветитьIf I have a couple smaller less specific hypothetical questions is there a way to get answers or at least your thoughts on them through the consultancy?
ОтветитьAgain, welcome back.
ОтветитьYOU ARE BACK!
ОтветитьWELCOME BACK!!!!
ОтветитьNow, you can't answer in-depth questions about the aerodynamics of the Mercedes.
....but what about the Aston Martin? :-D
KYLE LEAVES MERC....RED BULL BECOMES THE FASTEST CAR......COINCIDENCE, I THINK NOT
ОтветитьFor ask me anything: I working on designs for a composite battery box (420 18650 cells) for electric sprint karts. Although the box is somewhat initially protected by the plastic sidepod in a broadside collision, my concern is something such as a stray bumper rod puncturing the outer case and intruding into the box. Others have used 1/4-3/8" aluminum walls, but to increase protection I'm considering making the box using a 3/8" end grain balsa core with about 2mm of S2 fiberglass overlay for each side of the walls. Thoughts?
ОтветитьWelcome back everybody! Get those questions in down below!
