They make bone spear good at both group and single target, that make it always the strongest from the beginning

I havent tried the super S tier cause I got a very shitty rolled Black river (925 lowest rolled possible across the board) but I just easily clear my first ever D91 (lidless wall + bone storm is fucking broken beyond belief) using the S-tier Bone spear build. Ive got a few D100's that I've just crafted that I'm attempting tomorrow.

I switched Bone Spear/Spirit and Blood Lance like 5 times this seson, and my verdict is, Blood Lance > Blood Spear .... Bone Spear got the overwhelming dmg : ok ... but Blood Lance have tons of survivability that just push you easily to high lvl dungeons, it gives more protection and an even similar dmg with the bump of Corpses Explosions... both are pretty fun, but when you die less, you have more fun haha thanks for the content :)

Sever deserved to be an easy s-tier. I sleep through NVM and Vault 100s.

The Bone Spear does not melt bosses. Entity generation is not good enough. 4 spears and you stand and wait for the essence to be restored

LoL yeah, corpse explosion makes everything better 😁 Another way to help with resource generation is the lucky hit chance/resource generation% combo. It's not 100% effective, but in combination with the bot and essence gained by consuming corpses, it's pretty darned good.

I feel like blood lance should be higher especially since i play hardcore... Got way better survivability and i melt bosses super fast...Bone spear might be faster clearing but it's not like blood lance is awful with corpse explosion... it kills one target really fast with blood lance then ring tendrils and everything dies neatly...

I don't know if you are told this enough, but I really appreciate your hard work and wonderful insight.

What is the highest single target damage anyone has ever seen a Necro do in D4 (excluding ones using Barber from S2 since it's no longer in game). The most I have seen myself is around 20 million without Barber which compared to all other classes is shocking considering they do hundreds of millions, billions all the way up to trillions in some cases. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy playing Necro, it can clear all current content in the game and it's mob clearing ability is great but it's single target damage specifically in comparrison to all other classes is truly horrendous.

As always love the video. Finally playing around with the black river this season and man can it get nutty! Just rying to figure out what glyph to drop to incorporate exhumination into the build. Even with only 9 ranks into ce it just wipes the screen.

Well I have all the uniques, so I do like playing the grandfather with shako, starless and Sig, for better single target damage. But I do trade out for Black River and the shield for mob clearing just because of survivability and mass explosions dealing 10 of millions and damage. I still cannot figure out the best paragon board so I’m still lost there.

I have a bow spirit build that can constantly crit with 15-20 mio , why there isn’t any spirit build in the list ?

S+ Bonespear is not exactly new, just look up bombardier necro, @OperatorOtter covered it in great detail a while back

Why the don't just make a new element damage for Necro , blood damage , like instead of just the instant damage make blood damage do some effect like a DoT or something like bleeding.

Bone spear is just too squishy. Doing millions of damage is cool but burning through potions and getting one shot out of nowhere just sucks.

I just started a few days ago picked up Necro as my first class tried to do the bonespear build.... I dont think its possible at World Tier 2 as you need access to some of the uniques and mythics/ubers for that build to pump out the numbers. So Ive been running a bonespear/minion hybrid build that ngl aside from dungeon bosses shreads through mobs just wish i knew how to improve it as Im also not getting gear drops that enhance bonespear.....
