Cub Cadet W/ Kohler 18hp Governor Hunting, Surging Fix

I need to listen to me right now that is a kohler courage engine and those engines are absolutely notorious because they’re known as the bucket engine and when they fail they kick the bucket a color courage is known for blowing up because the oriole pants on the top and it will loosen the bolts on the little pan oil pan will come off the Run I don’t oil and blow the engine but it’s also got a whole heap of issues it’s got plastic cam gears and the compression releases on those came gears and the camshaft goes out takes a compression release with it cranks real hard usually takes out the starter with it but it also has starter issues the starters go out the coils go out the leaky valve gasket oh my God leaky valve cover it is all the carnage it just always leaks the sump gasket fails it’s gotten multiple carburetor issues Kohler has replaced an engine with a better one I think they fixed it but the one you have just it’s just a really bad engine (I used voice text for this so sorry if the grammar is a bit out of whack)

all that does is apply choke. just a bandaid not fixing anything. carb needs a god deep cleaning with air fuel screw removed and cleaned out as well. aftermarket carbs for these will 9/10 times always do this

I have a B&S intek, will this work for my surge ?

I have one is tur on very good but only is working for 10 minutes then turn of and I have to wait for 6 hours to turn on again

Clogged idle(pilot) jet it is running on the main jet only. thus it is fine at high rpm only. Simply it cant idle, ethanol gas is the main cause. clean the jets and stop using ethanol gasoline

I shot air thru gas line towards tank, worked on surging. Had crud in wire mesh inside gas tank. Do it now before mowing Worked for me
