Enjoy one of our progressive rock composition using sequencer...

Although the mixing result is not so good enough, but we were pleased for the guitar has sounds more realistic than ever done in sequencing.

ABOUT US
minor66 band - was born in Jogjakarta, Java, Indonesian in mid of 80-90. The members are students that like to progressive rock genre - Genesis (especially), Yes, Saga, Marillion. After almost 20 years parting of the members, 3 original members tried to find replacement of vocalist and realize their 40 past composition & arrangement.

It was early 80s, at Kadipaten Kulon Jogjakarta, prior to be a band, two members were already involved in a group, i.e., folk and experimental acoustic. 40 songs were written during in this group.

After hearing Genesis, Yes, Saga, Rush, they loved the music genre and felt getting home for their own song.

In mid of 80s, eventually the band formed with line up:
yani - drum and percussion
budi londo - bass and guitar, back vocal
toyorish toto - keyboard, back vocal
Emi Jaq - guitar, keyboard, back vocal
Bondan - Special guest vocal for live show

At first, they focused to own songs. Being Overred to play in live, they did rehearsal to cover genesis, saga, marillion. They were criticized by local media as too brave to cover "cinema show" genesis song as student band for their first live in band parade in Bulaksumur UGM Jogjakarta. They got local TV show chance to play their own progressive song - that it's rarely where most of TV Show covered song of famous singer or band.

Unfortunately, parting of the member could not be avoided due to jobs in another cities - they had played some live in 3-4 years, their support for other band reached the top in rock festival in Purworejo, Central Java.
But, the member who still lived in Jogja, i.e., Yani formed Vellacio band - cover band to Halloween, continued playing drum for classmate band to cover genesis Phil Collins era. Toto played The Beatles cover band for pub.

It was 2004, by the accident the two members (budi londo and emi jaq) met in Jakarta. They talked about their own music and compared with the mainstream Indonesian Rock. Although it' seemed hard, they decided to realize their progressive rock arrangements by midi sequencer help.
