Part of the problem is how you explain it
ОтветитьIt’s just a fully mechanical triple split
ОтветитьThere’s literally a picture how to do it 🤷🏼♂️ I don’t even know that kind of gearing Wut it looks so easy
ОтветитьConfusing
Ответить😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe "problem" is when us IH guys hop on one that doesn't have a sticker anymore! It just becomes a stirrin' stick!
ОтветитьIt's all good in Dandy until the linkage wears out of your shifting rods and handles and controls down up under that Dash just like a International 4550 when the linkage wears out it's not worth a s***
ОтветитьI’ve ran our 3020 gas and 4020 diesel so much growing up I don’t even look at the diagram. I’m sure there are many others out there that are the same way.
ОтветитьI grew up on allies chalmers
ОтветитьLa mejor selectora Manuel que puede existir... La vieja escuela 💪
ОтветитьDo you know where to put the shifter to tow it
ОтветитьI really don't get it either. It's a john deere. The best ever made.
ОтветитьI don't get it either John deere tractor's r simple to run alot more simple than the new case ih tractor's
ОтветитьThe diagram on the left shows you exactly every gear and it’s shift pattern.
ОтветитьThis is annoying as hell...
ОтветитьStop explaining!!!!!!!! If you grew up this that kinda tractor you know !!!!!!!
Ответитьwtf. that's the transmission I grew up with. Any brand loyalist can get accustomed to it easily. Easiest transmission outside of power shift.
ОтветитьThat is confusing
Ответить10 series has 7 reverse
ОтветитьThe gear pattern is on the sticker. Never liked them though.
ОтветитьIt's not hard at all, I was raised around
Tractors it's easy to me, but not everyone was as lucky to be around John deere tractors
I have the extra reverse
Ответитьi learn how to drive a 4020 Diesel when i was 9, easiest thing ive ever done in my life
Ответитьwhy don't you go faster, they may get it!!!
ОтветитьI was fortunate enough to live on a free stall operation in Amsterdam NY back in the 70s. My stepfather was the Miller and I got to start working when I was 14. The farm had a 3010, 4020 and a 5020. The best thing I remember was driving the 5020 5 miles from a place that they rented back to the farm. Fun times
ОтветитьHold on there speedy! Slow it down.
ОтветитьThat was the first tractor my dad taught me to drive when I was a kid lol
ОтветитьWe’ve had a 3020 with the 8 speed synchro shift in the family all my life at first it is quite intimidating but it takes no time at all to learn it. I find that transmission to be a real fun one to drive and possibly my favorite all time, hard to beat a good old 4430 quad range though.
ОтветитьIf you're lucky lmao
ОтветитьIve never drove one i learned on a 87 kabota l225 8speed
ОтветитьLuckily Grew up learning on my GrandParents 4020 Syncro
ОтветитьSlow down your going too fast
ОтветитьRan my uncle's 3020 with a moldboard plow back in the day, no problem but woulda been lost without the diagram
ОтветитьI’m a red guy I don’t understand this alien technology just give me a high low and my TA
ОтветитьThat cause they aren’t too smart! And here you go proving them to be
ОтветитьMan I miss running gravity wagons with that Ole girl.
ОтветитьGrew up on that shift pattern, could do it blindfolded! Looks like not much wear on the shifter!
Ответитьthat has been shifted a many a time. Look at the wear on the shift lever...Only problem with these were the internal bushings getting wore and hot engauging the transmission like it should
ОтветитьMy grandpa has a 4020
ОтветитьIt's a stick shift for tractors. Easy peazy.
ОтветитьIt ain’t hard once you get used to it.
ОтветитьSelf explanatory. Must not know a Deere if you have to ask
ОтветитьSuper easy. Get a powershift
ОтветитьWell its a sixty year old transmission !
Why does it need explained ?
