That beautiful, light, sunny reception room and sun porch were my favorite rooms.😊
Ответить👍It’s nice. 👍
ОтветитьWe so enjoy your videos Ken. Thank you and keep up the great quality!
ОтветитьIm just happy every time I know they didn't bulldoze one of these things. I can't imagine the thought process behind destroying one of these beautiful houses
ОтветитьYou’re doing another video on one of my houses?
ОтветитьWatkins vanilla extract is the only vanilla that I use in my cooking.
ОтветитьHi Ken, I would love for you to cover the A. D. White Library building at Cornell University. The interior is so gorgeous I would love it to be on your channel, please!
Love your videos.
Tudor is my least favorite architectural style, after postwar Bauhaus.
ОтветитьI land surveyed for the City of Winona Engineering Dept. Right on the river, beautiful area. m
ОтветитьThe craftsmanship is gorgeous!
ОтветитьI'm glad this house is still around.
ОтветитьThank you very much for Nice video from Nice mansion 🎉
ОтветитьThank you for including pictures of the kitchen and butler's pantry.
ОтветитьI LOVE ALL of the sitting rooms. Its interesting that in most of the rooms the furniture is against the walls, instead of forming conversation areas.
ОтветитьI am glad this house survived, yet I wonder if it has been chopped up into small apartments...its a shame if it has.
ОтветитьHooray! Another surviving beautiful house. As another commenter noted, it does resemble stately collegiate building.
ОтветитьI remember the Watkins’ Man
ОтветитьLovely house. I toured several mansions years ago, the one in Sacramento that's a youth hostile now and the now sadly burned down Bidwell in Chico California, Mrs Bidwell designed the house and I realized someone could live in that house easily today as it was, it was very nice but very functional
ОтветитьThis is my favorite exterior style. Great video!!
ОтветитьKen,after several years of your videos this is my absolute favourite home! Just perfect inside and out, gardens, everything! I really appreciate the effort you put in these.
ОтветитьTruly magnificent home and very pleased to learn that it is still standing, being used and taken care of.
ОтветитьVery nice and interesting video. I realized that I have some Watkins caramel flavoring on my spice rack. I had never heard of the Watkins name before this video.
ОтветитьMrs Watkins bathroom is my favorite. I know, I'm weird!
ОтветитьWhen you said the architect designed university halls, I wasn't surprised. The house looks a lot like some of the older buildings and dorm at my alma mater, the U of Michigan . Very nice.
ОтветитьI think Mr Watkins would be pleased that his house is still serving people.
ОтветитьA room for my dad in memory care is 10k per mo. out of pocket. Depending on the business model the mansion may remain in perpetuity. Lovely home, thanks to you and Dalton for putting this quick bite together for us.
ОтветитьLovely Home up river from us in La Crosse. Watkins is still around.
ОтветитьBy any measure, a beautiful home.
ОтветитьWow, I love how the house looks very grand on the outside but many of the spaces inside are very cozy and livable. Also love all the warm woodwork.
ОтветитьGreat video, I am so pleased this home has survived.
ОтветитьIncredible house glad it is still here
ОтветитьMy grandmother (b.1879) in Chillicothe, OH bought many of Watkins products. My mom told me that she even got some free dinnerware as part of the purchase. I still purchase Watkins products at Target. 🎯
ОтветитьClean and simple lines make this a beautiful home. So glad it has found a repurposed use and survives!❤
ОтветитьThe chequerboard is a clever device. 👍
ОтветитьKind of puts a damper on Christmas eve.
