I find myself torn between both Bri & Francesca’s point of view. I tend to eventually cave into voting for the lesser of two evils but realize that we will only ever be given the choice of two evils if we keep doing so. It has a paralyzing effect on political progress.

On my first brush with your guest today, I can certainly agree with Francesca Fiorentini on this one point, that she has not thought deeply about the role and arc of electoral politics if she thinks that choosing among the corporate parties of genocide and imperialism is somehow a 'defensive' voting strategy. She exposes the limits of her solidarity with the victims of the war taxes she pays, and a lack of vision about her own power in public affairs. Unfortunate.

Her constant repetition that movements 'pop up' for exploitation, rather than that they are the result of organizing is particularly naive. Her failure to recognize BLM, Inc., as a wholly captured subsidiary of the blue team she shills for exposes her loyalties. She is only now figuring out that we lack 'free and fair elections'.

I stopped watching Bad Faith for at least 6 months only to return to find that Bri is still beating the same dead horse. The left will never unite because there is a fundamental difference between the two factions. One side will never abandon the dems because it is in their interest not to and because they have no real tangible needs that aren’t being met so they remain invested in the two party system. The rest of us got the hint after force the vote and moved on.
