The first time I ever saw and heard Junior Brown was on an episode of Austin City Limits in the mid 90s when I was channel surfing on a Saturday night. It might have been this episode. I just remember the string bass and Tanya Rae and how well dressed they were and Highway Patrol. Fast forward 19 years and I’ve seen him live 3 or 4 times including at the Continental Club in Austin. Most of his songs are in my music library and I could sing a number of them karaoke without lyrics on a screen because I know them already. Plus he sings bass like me which most current singers don’t.
ОтветитьJunior is a master, this is unreal
ОтветитьRoy Clark is still the best guitar player
ОтветитьMy dad would play highway patrol man I fucking loved that shit
ОтветитьI grew up with Junior Brown, he's the Jimi Hendrix of my generation. Unfortunately civilization took a nose dive and shit itself, but I'm still here loving my idol Junior.
ОтветитьI remember watching this the night it was first on TV and just loved it. Thank you for putting this on!!
ОтветитьI watched this years ago and my jaw hit the ground. I’m a guitarist and it was the first time ever hearing Jr Brown. The man is a master of guitar. His playing is so unique. I became a fan instantly.
ОтветитьLove it saw u This n reno 2016 appx
ОтветитьAs much as I love a modern country guitar playing pop star, they really gotta go back to this vibe for at least the next 10-15 years then they can go back to being skinny jeans pop stars or whatever lol
ОтветитьJunior for president ! Man this cat can pick those strings .
Ответитьi say got damn!
ОтветитьThats a whole lotta talent folks!
Ответитьl've heard Junior can be mean as a snake. But he's a guitarist's guitarist plus a national treasure.
ОтветитьCan you upload the Junior Brown and Robbie Fulks Austin City Limits episode from 1998? Season 23 opens with guit-steel guitarist Junior Brown, he is joined by Robbie Fulks.👍
