Is your mix too loud? Every tweak you make or track you add inching you closer to that 0db mark? In this video, I’m going to share with you my three top tips on keeping your mixes at the right level to help you to avoid clipping.

It’s really important when mixing to keep your master fader in your DAW from going over 0 decibels. It causes nasty digital distortion, which means you’ll need to bring your faders down before exporting. If things are distorting and you ignore it during your mix it could be affecting your mixing decisions as well. These three tips will help you to keep things well below 0 db so that you can focus on mixing and not have to worry about clipping.
