Is there only one sensor? Or is it a sensor on all the tires?

I like how he cuts the video because these are seized in there and will never come out that easy. Maybe show people how to get out a seized one as that’s what they will be up against.

Dealership wants $550 to diagnose and replace one of these sensors in my 2016 Passat. I think I’ll try and do it myself…

My vw t5 2.5tdi van yesterday i was driving it (been off the road for 5 months). It drove perfectly but then after 30 mins the abs light and airbag light came on together then the instrument panel went down. The speedo, the rev counter, the temp guage the lot.All that stayed on was the digital mileage.Been on a few forums and lots of people are saying its an abs problem, likely to be the abs sensors.Could this cause the instrument panel to go down.Thanks.

Just changed my rear sensor as it was throwing a code and not picking anything up on a live data run. Replaced the sensor but now that one sensor shows random speeds that dont match up with the other 3 sensors. Do i need to replace with an oem sensor (using a delphi atm) or will it be the reluctor ring on the back of tbe bearing? Mot is due soon
Please help!

Boy - That was the easiest front ABS sensor removal I have seen.. Don't know where you live but here in Ma, I had a hard time removing mind until it broke off..Finally got a friend who basically had to drill it out...The rear was easy...

First try this- it costs nothing! Had a rear right sensor fault on a T5 VW transporter diagnosed with a Foxwell 320 Plus unit. Bought a new sensor, took the wheel off and as soon as I removed the rubber cover to the wheel hub inner side, I noticed there was an accumulation of brake dust/ around the sensor, the magnetic ring was in OK condition. Cleaned it up with WD40 and break cleaner. Didn't need new sensor and problem solved, as indicated by a check on the Foxwell gadget.
So, with hindsight, if you have an error , just get under the vehicle without removing any wheels, remove the hub cover from the inner side, if accessible, and clean the magnetic ring and sensor on each of the 4 hubs. Do this- it won't take more than 30 minutes and you don't need to buy the diagnostic device!

Try doing one that’s been in salt a few years. You end up pounding them out from the other end with a punch after removing the brake disc. You also have to heat up the casting to get the rusted bolt out. You people in lower states have it made easy working on cars,no snow and salt on the roads
