I appreciate this video and the honesty so much. I've been working as a GTA but with no PhD and going for a lectureship. Part of the interview process involves a talk about my research plan for the next 4 years and all of these things (REF/KE/ISTA) have been so opaque and confusing. Thank you so much for clearing a piece of the puzzle up for me!
